To me, everything says Wigan to win handsomely.

Nevertheless, we need to up our game considerably: improve our discipline around the PTB and in the tackle. We need to stop tossing the ball to each other - pass it with more speed. We need to be more creative when kicking on the last tackle, We need to be quicker making forward progress from the PTB -more "scoot" as it were. But then, I'm not Peet...he has a better track record than I.

Wigan by a lot i would imagine, though the 50 or so of us who are going will only be asking and hoping for some pride and effort to applaud.

The M62 on a Thursday night is a horrid place to be after another defeat over the border but it has to be done, some people need an empty seat fix 🙂

People keep saying how Wigan will be hurting after their last two results,  ut won't the same apply to the Giants, after the humiliation by Leeds, I think Robbo will stand up to be counted tonight and he will have them firing for the whole game not giving so early like last week.

Field back for Wigan is a massive boost for them. O'Neil missing is a real blow!

Wigan by 12.

O'Neil out I'd say negates the Field return and maybe more...starting to think he's close to England starting 9 now....at least not Ackers had been Rhinos-ified (synonym for 'made poorer')

Wigan sloppy again. Huddersfield take advantage.

Huddersfield none too neat either, but they are pressuring Wigan with good line speed, which has happened quite a bit lately.

I always defend Wigan as a great club but to boo them off at half time tonight is poor.

They’ve only just beaten us in the cup final.

Some fans don’t deserve their team.

Obviously watching the Leigh game,  but no surprise that the Giants are doing well, hope they can keep it up for Robinson.

Yeah not great really by those that did it.

Be interesting to see if they can fight back second half

Wigan look a shattered team. How many times have we seen this happen to teams that start the season all guns blazing. Two trophies won and going for a third but there's a reason why it's not something that happens very often.

When you look at some of the players making the most basic errors - Smith, Wardle etc. it's some of the most consistent players we've had all year.

I'd like to see Matt Peet try something a bit different now. Put Keighran into the halves instead of Hampshire, put Walters on the right edge instead of Nsemba. Try to get something out of the players that haven't been relied upon all year to make things happen.
