Before this period of 3 games in 10 days I was wondering what Matt Peet would do in terms of squad rotation. I think not rotating the squad has come back to bite us. I'm baffled that none of our established players (bar Field who wasn't fit enough to play all 3 anyway) have been rested for this period. Everything about this performance has been lethargic.

Exactly what I was  thinking,  granted you're a bit thinner in the backs

Leeds clearly better than  Wigan  in more or less every respect. Sure, we might be tired but this looks like the best performance from Leeds for quite a while.

If the refs were being consistent Smith should have been sent off for ten minutes for shoving the Leeds player and causing the escalation.

A Salford player was sat down for being third man in against Saints.

It's the inconsistency that irks fans; the Wigan 7 should be off.

I’d like to see the elbows again from Nsemba from the other side if he caught Bentley there he could be in trouble in the week.

With all the replays, one would imagine they'd show it carefully.

Smith has really lost his rag; it's got worse as it's gone on.

He dropped the forearm on Bentley; I think that's a send-off.

Really worrying signs for Smith's composure when the game goes against him. There have been numerous incidents in this second half.

The forearm smash into a grounded Bentley was just the nadir/culmination.

Refs want to manage a game and be fair they don't want to send players off unnecessarily. He was more than fair this game and in the broad sense it's inconsequential given the scoreline.

Very true, his yanking is a lot worse than just running in, ref shouldn't ignore that at all, it's not even stevens

If Smith had correctly been binned, then he would have been taken off the boil and we would have avoided that shocking smash. That was coming.

Bad management, and the wrong call after the third man in yank on Nsemba.
