I am 90. Lost my 300 pound fuel allowance, my car insurance has gone up a large amount, hoped there would be some increased concession for older supporters. Older people are feeling the pinch.  I have supported since 1938 and will scrat together the amount quoted if I can.

To be fair driving at 90 ( well done by the way - don't think I'd fancy it these days) but your insurance will be high. At the end of the day the club simply can't let folk in for nothing ,£20 is a decent price these days,if we want a decent team it has to be paid for. You don't smoke or drink you need some enjoyment ( hopefully lol).

Wasn't looking at coming in for nothing. Was hoping that the season ticket would be reduced to its former price of £150. I will continue to enjoy life. Have a daily walk and use my brain at numerous times. Still fairly active on a volunteer basis. I still give people advice and help. I was just pointing out that the conceesions were for new possible supporters, I simply asked if we older ones were given any thought. When you think of what we have done in the past, raising money, improving the ground, doing various things at game time, that some consideration would be given to older supporters.

Going back to £150 season tickets  save the supporter £20, the players won't want to go back to reduced wages  ( yer can bet many wages have been reduced). I've done many many things to help out at Rovers and didn't expect anything back because I volunteered to do it . Anyway hope you can still get to the games and enjoy them hopefully.

All my efforts were volunteered. I raised over a £1000 for the Rovers with my efforts. I will continue to help if needed. My thoughts were not just for myself but for other pensioners who are  having hard times, but want to continue supporting.

Especially those who are also contributing to the Squadbuilder. If any of those were to walk away the club could lose at least an extra £120 on top.

Thought that we might have had some news today, but seems to be very quiet.

Most of our signings (and indeed those of most clubs) are announced in the evening. Sometimes around 5pm, sometimes a bit later.

Keeping Reynolds was essential given how well he played overall when he returned to us and also how difficult it is to get quality half backs at this level, and as we all know he's as good a kicker as there is around, including in SL.

I think he might have had a bit of a "grass is greener" moment when he went to HKR/Hull because his commitment was terrific when he returned. Hopefully he'll be in the same form in 2025.

100%

It's a fantastic resigning.

Although I can't attend all games this signing and the incentive to bring in 2 under 16's with your season ticket has sold it to me.

Great stuff.

Great signing and a good move from the club to seal the deal early and hopefully build a squad around him.  Lets just hope we can play some better stuff next year or it'll just be a waste of money.  Over to you Fordy.....

Yes. It seems to be moving along nicely in the right direction?

Happy with him for the next 2 years we’ve really struggled at fullback since hardman retired

hopefully he can play a lot more games this year than last
