Wire with the ball are looking fragmented at the moment.

Strange that they missed out two players passing to Ashton when they had a two man overlap.

And that last play to Ashton sums your post up rather well.

Ashton in after Walmsley faux pas.

(Do I get bonus points for mentioning the name "Ashton")

That's 2 incidence of stay down, gain a player advantage. Neither of which deserved a yellow.

This is absolute nonsense now.

Yes. Why should we care about the well-being of our players. They can always sue the RFL and buy  wheelchairs with the proceeds.

Great individual try from Ashton there.

Is it rainy up in Warrington? The ball handling has been atrocious by St Helens.

Well, the game's not in Yorkshire so I imagine so.

Nice to see a ref actually allow the game to play on after a knock on and allow a team to take advantage.  Almost every time the whistle is blown in that situation just to have a structured restart.

Did either of the players leave the pitch for a HIA to see if they have concussion symptoms?

Or here's an idea. We make sin bin worthy offences sin bins, instead of giving sin bins because the opposition stays down.

That isn't happening. See the Miski incident last night.

If there's no foul, the ref doesn't give one.

The problem is that's the exception not the rule.

It isn't. It's just a shifting of the goalposts. Late hits and direct high tackles have been yellow and red all season. I don't know why people are suddenly acting surprised in rd 25.

Apologies, I didn't realise there were bright skies in West Hull 😉

There have been clouds over everyone in West Hull for most of 2024.

Still, at least our second team won last night.

Some people just don't get it and they are just not going to win. There's already a protocol for head contact. MND,  Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy etc. Next up: possible neck injuries etc. if the game does not police itself, at some point, the courts will.

I worry that Saints are staying in this pretty well considering they haven't played well.

Warrington seem to be playing the game as if they are chasing it with 10mins to go and not leading towards the end of the first half.

What the hell was that?

Why was the referee and trainer talking about if he should get a green card or HIA?

Surely he needs a HIA or he doesn't - but the trainer had to think about what would be better.

Disgraceful from both IMO.
