Well played Wakefield, never in doubt from the first try.

Think the ref felt sorry for Toulouse, they had players offside at nearly every kick off.

Do you not think the extra points for winning the LLS, the cup and the GF would have helped Toulouse with their grading this year considering they were already in 10th spot above Wakefield, Leigh and Castleford?

Unless they are “parachuted” into SL as their coach suggests I believe their chance has already gone.

My opinion, you don’t have to agree with it.

What would you like the outcome to be?

I understand the Trin are on the lash tonight but I’m not from Leeds and don’t even support a SL club to be honest, I’m not even from Yarkshire but just a RL supporter in general but recognised the awesome feat by your No 1, if you read my post again it may make sense that I’m backing Trin rather than Leeds if you want to look at it that way 👍

Apologies mate abit of beer talk in there, mixed in with Whiskys the lot lol Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed what undoubtedly was our finest performance of the season.

Makes you wonder if Toulouse already knew their fate with that dismal performance.

I think even if they had a won the RFL/Super League would have looked as ways of not making sure they didn't get into Super League.

I'm not sure it would have been succesful, but I'm sure the above bodies would have tried.

Powell is no doubt a good coach and has done a great job at Wakefield.

He does seem to have a fatal flaw which has affected his performance as a SuperLeague club coach, but let's trust that if Wakefield really do play in SL next season, he can overcome that flaw and drive Wakefield forward.

Out of interest mate what’s this fatal flaw you believe has affected his performances?

Exactly the point I made a week ago but got a quite negative response. I've felt for some time that Toulouse will have been strongly demotivated by seeing Catalan suddenly forced to pay travel for away teams and London knowing that they were relegated before a ball was touched this season. It signposts loudly that Toulouse will not be let in and expansion is not welcome, and that the idea of IMG doing a job to improve the image of and expand the game is an utter farce. Well done to Wakefield though, decent effort in all aspects.

Or Wakefield Trinity just played them out of the game and gave them a thrashing returning the favour Toulouse delivered to Wakefield earlier in the season

Why do they have to invest in their playing squad if they are serious about getting in to SL?

As suspected Toulouse could have replaced Salford in SL with a better performing team.

Could they? Please explain how. Also remember they don't play in the 1895 cup so that 0.1 bonus points was never on the table for them.
