Six.

Chester RFC, Halton Stadium Widnes, Wilderspool, Victoria Park Warrington, Caldey RFC and now Robin Park.

Six in North Wales.

The Racecourse, Queensway, The Rock. Eirias Park, Llanrwst RFC, Rhyl RFC.

If only we could find the money to build number 13 and become home owners.

Warrington 16 Widnes 12 HT. Widnes looked decent so far but tempered by fact that I have no idea who's playing for Wire, Latchford and Leyland aside. Warrington been kicking to Brown on Widnes left wing with some success. All in all pretty enjoyable first half.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Problem is both sides have players on and off constantly, and without knowing the shirt numbers, I suspect even many dedicated Wire fans might not recognise the faces of all the academy team.

Warrington 22 Widnes 36 FT

Suspect both coaches will be reasonably happy with that. Lots of substitutions and players changing position, but both teams put some good attacks together. Dec Patton very good for Widnes and I thought Aiden Doolan, who signed on Wednesday as a trialist, did a very good job.at hooker. Try for Alfie Johnson on his Warrington debut.

Agree about Patton, just got to keep him on the pitch.  The bald lad from Swinton looks like he's got some mongrel in him.  Overall thought we played some decent rugby and scored some good tries. Probably a good result for Rochdale in regards traveller's next week.

Salford reserves really struggling - Barrow 20-0 Salford after 14 minutes.

EDIT - and with that, of course, they settle in and get one back 🤣   20-6

Batley 30 Hurricanes 34.

For the first 10 minutes the Canes could not get out if their own half.

Then Batley scored 6-0.

Finally Midlands got some ball and equalised.

From then on the visitors started to exert real pressure down the hill by half time the Canes were in the lead 14-16.

Good play by the visitors up the hill increased their lead to 14-28.

The Bulldogs got a move on to finally catch up and with 4 minutes lefrpt it looked the visitors were going home empty handed at 30-28

BUT an interception by Matty Hanley raced up the hill and 70 metres won the game for the League 1 side 30 -34

Really doesn't bode well for Salford. They will likely need to call on a few of those players in SL this season.
