Just seen it for the first time. Theme of SL launching on Valentines weekend, with a soundbite of "We love Super League"

Flashy, colourful, nice enough. Won't go viral.or stand out, but we're getting ads now,.its getting closer!

I don't have Sky, is it available on YT etc?

Then the advert isn’t doing its job 🤣

They appear to be versions of this.

I see the SL social media accounts have one of these tailored to each club too, which is quite nice as it focuses on the stars and draws them out a little more.

If you go on YouTube there is a search bar, enter something like ‘Sky Super League advert’ and if it’s on there it will come up.

I can't justify paying for Sky Sports at the moment.

Have you considered Now TV? I pay £17 a month for sky sports and you can cancel any time, not bad value now the SL season is about to start, and you get plenty of NRL games too.

In the past I wouldn't have been bothered about paying over the odds, even if RL got short shrift but I have had to tighten a few purse strings these days.

I thought I'd had a bad day at work, but some poor work experience lad has just been told to do one for Hull FC.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Which part of Yorkshire are you from mate?

Seeing as you were boasting about how you get paid much more than RL players, it is obviously not something that affects you. But since you try to shame me about it, the reason is that I can't afford to pay out for it. There, hope you feel better. Now, how much do you earn again?  I know it's a lot so you must be a great person.

His sole purpose in life is going on the internet trying to wind people up, I very much doubt he’s a high earner.

If his earnings are anywhere near his IQ then he could barely afford a loaf of bread.

Your not the only one mate. I've just gone through with my Sky cancellation and no longer have Sky for the first time in 16 years. Did the usual threat to cancel, got offered a much better deal but then thought no I'm just cancelling because its way too much and it'll just go up again twice during the contract. The constant price rises just make it poor value for money and everyone in the house watches more series on Netflix etc now.

I'll get an alternative sorted for the sports before the season start but need to get cracking with that.

I’m guessing Wakefield….and I’ve never bragged about how much I get paid.  I’m bemoaning the sad fact that SL players get paid a disgraceful pittance, but I guess you knew that was my point.

New ad aimed at the NFL audience

I like it.

I think that's superb.

There's a whole group of us who, for the third year in a row, are pestering our Sports product team to push out a dedicated channel for RL. This is the closest it's been so fingers crossed. If it goes through it most likely won't be up for round 1, which is a shame, but should stay up for most of the season.

Perfectly executed. Superb.

The fact the NFL and Superleague seasons dovetail almost perfectly together is why I don't bother having a couple of months off NowTV each year, so well worth Sky trying to exploit these audiences.

I wonder if they'll do it in reverse in October.
