I understand why they've done it - and can 100% understand the people who bought the kit being a bit annoyed by it.

I can also see it as it being a very late request by "Hoover" or whatever their parent company is, as they have seen the increased build up/interest, and want to capitalise on it.

To be honest, it may be bad for those Warrington fans, but if the parent company sees this as a big enough event that they want their own name on it, rather than Hoover than that probably goes to show the strentgh and cut through this event has had.

Yeah, I was saying the same yesterday, the fact that the sponsor cares enough to want to push their US brand should be seen as a positive

Turned up to preseason unfit so sent to Widnes

Widnes' gain is Wire's loss.

Enjoy, Spidey, he's great entertainment with and without the ball.

In all honesty I'd like to see him play in Vegas tonight. I hope Liindop proves me wrong,

He was unfit at the start of last year, I wonder if he's always gonna be one of those players whose fitness goes up and down.

We’ve got players missing so he fills a hole. If they return he’ll be binned off

They are clearly pre-recorded. Yes.

Crowd is picking up (slowly) from photos on twitter but they only opened the gates 45 mins ago.

Our trusty friend The Game Caller is saying over 52,000 tickets sold, so guess what the attendance will be...

Even in that little clip, he shows why he's so good. Just effortlessly welcoming you in, sharing his passion, *and* being erudite and fun.

Four games in a row is a big ask for a new audience, plus there'll be attractions (and food) immediately outside the stadium for ticket-holders.

I am assuming live feed will be expensive so not until game is close to players on way out...

It will probably end up being like a whole day 9s/7s event in that the crowd is coming and going all through the event.

Remember the way that Toronto's crowds were always in flux? People were coming and going all the time. That would be a single game. This is going to be at least eight hours.

I suspect the live broadcast is being run by the Aussie networks given the commentators, so anything live is run through them so any UK only stuff needs to be a pre-record

I think it's this. It's a Fox live event so Sky will have had to pre record their stuff.

Really good hearing the enthusiasm from the likes of Vossy, Matty John's and Greg Alexander - especially when they are celebrating the history of the English clubs.
