Heard the attendance was around 1 500. Nobody's here in Toulouse during summer. It's incredibly hot and there's no beach, people are drained to Bordeaux/Montpellier/Aude/Perpignan.

What would be considered "summer"? Might this not be a worry?

At first glance first player sin binned Toulouse player was in touch should have been a scrum to Hornets from kick off for second half first tackle Toulouse player bending Hornets player leg right back should have been a penalty to Hornets last Toulouse try came from a forward pass by Toulouse can see from the lines should have gone back for a knock on Toulouse scrum

And that's just from first glance

Toulouse are a good team and would still have won yesterday.

Not sure how they will survive on such low crowds surely they would be better in the French league getting decent crowds or is it the SL money they need

At first glance no where near touch. Correct sin bin for holding down

Nothing untoward in tackle at beginning of 2nd half. Joint bent correct way

If that is what your coach is complaining about then he needs to shut up and concentrate on sorting out your RHS defence

Most weekends in July and August the motorway is full of toulouse reg plates heading to the beach

It used to be easier to tell with the old style 31 number plates but during those two moths the driving improves on la rocade and deteriorates everywhere else.

The Rochdale coach told me that! ;)

Kuni Minga wasn't in touch, the lino was nearby and would have spotted the foot in touch. Rochdale were frustrated at being outpaced and had no choice but to cause the offence to prevent an inevitable try, well done Jamie Bloem for producing the yellow card.

Maybe a better tactic would have been to stop Minga causing so much havoc by better marking, he was a pain in the posterior for the 80 minutes.

It's easy to find who is from Toulouse when they come near Perpignan.

They ask for Chocolatines, those retards.

Some punctuation wouldn't go amiss. I gave up trying to comprehend as it was clear you and your club are just bitter

The '31' is still on most reg plates issued in that department, it's just that the numbers are a lot smaller so more difficult to spot.

Yes but when it's more difficult to spot how are you going to keep a proper prejudice going? ;)

I suppose we could always ask the Rochdale coach. :rtfm:

It'll be interesting to see how Houles plays out the last three games what with the home tie in the final now assured. Will he rest senior players and not risk injury or will he go all out for the unbeaten record to the end of the season ?

Whatever else oiseau, that's a coach's dream conundrum.

Toulouse tough sporting market - Saturday Stade Toulousain pulled 12,400 for Top 14 against Montpellier and in Ligue 1 Toulouse FC 19,200 for Bordeaux. Toulouse Olympique believe the code can only make an imprint against this local competition by playing at the top of the European game. The bench mark crowd in Toulouse must be the near 15,000 for Dragons-Hull KR in 2013.

"It involves matters much greater than drafting the new rules...the original and existing games have their own powerful appeal to their players and public and have the sentiments which history inspires"  - Harold 'Jersey' Flegg 1933

"Just as we had been Cathars, we were treizistes, men apart."

That gives me hope, actually.

Stade Toulousain is one of the biggest union clubs in France, in a major southern city against another southern city. If the best they can pull is 12 400 they're slowing down.

That was a cracking day at the Stade Toulousain for the Cats v HKR game. Ralph Rimmer was present  and in those heady times Toulouse were looking to be drafted straight into SL with Carlos Z at the helm. He was predicting first season SL crowds of between 4000-6000 for the TO13 home games. Hindsight is easy but this season in C1 has been a stroll so maybe the best thing would have been to parachute Toulouse into the Championship and not effectively 'waste' a promotion place from C1. As mentioned previously this would have caused shockwaves within some of the Championship community, especially with those eurosceptics..

As it is Toulouse are still getting complaints from some C1 fans about them being 'too good' for C1 - doh !!, it seems to be a no-win situation for them !

This is the correct way, for them to go through the process. They will have to consolidate their position next year and anything better than 5th will be a good achievement.

The RFL want all clubs now to have a strong infrastructure which is sustainable, including player supply and junior development. Not just the ability to purchase players.

Full time in a part time league. Your having a laugh

Toulouse aren't a full time team, where did you hear this? They have about 5 professional players and the rest are players who go to work and train with the club during their lunch hours. That is not full time.

Also did you bother to account for the dual reg players Rochdale and other clubs have used from SL teams? Toulouse do not use dual reg.

Agreed in fact at start of second half I think a Rochdale player touches it it goes forward and is then batted back by another Rochdale player who's offside.
