If it had got up for a "No try" then I don't see the video ref overturning it.  He plapped at the side of ball. I'd call it a bounce.

Yep. I'd say a definite no try in the NRL but I wouldn't be sure over here in SL. IMO it was a no try.

Refereeing spot on again. Just want Wire to win by 5.

Lol

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

Knock on by Wire into Grace ref wipes tackle count for them. Come on absolutely diabolical from Hicks, he so far is deciding the result of this game.

If you ask most RL fans they have been for 20 years.

That's a relief... I would have had to sue my opthamogist.

Two big calls so far...

It was a very arrogant call from him. I appreciate refs need to stamp authority on games but not at the expense of a crucial decision.

Arrogance is what came to my mind too. It was not clear. It was very important to get it right. His arrogance in believing he could tell such a quick play without the need of assistance could cost Saints.

At least the Wire fans won't be able to blame the ref at the moment.

Saints look a bit rattled last 5  - 10 minutes. Not making as many metres and the odd unforced error.
