Slick, polished and professional.

Buckingham Palace, HRH Harry, Robinson, Grainger and kids from a London School topped off by that gorgeous creature.

Interesting way to talk about Dave Woods!

I think the RLWC has been superbly organised so far, I think everything Jon Dutton and the team are doing so far has been really good. I've no doubt the tournament will be done really well.

Still think it's a mistake to have the random draw and the it hasnt been particularly kind but I'm looking forward to it.

Yes, Samoa can beat England.

And there are plenty of games in the group stages where the result is nowhere near a foregone conclusion.

When we get to the quarters there will be a shock or two I think and even if we see the four seeds get to the semi's I don't think we can pick the winners.

Gone are the days when England, New Zealand and Australia play each other in a ridiculous Super Group with a sacrificial 4th team before they pause for a few weeks and then pick up in the semi's.

And thank goodness for that.

Everything that we have seen about the 2021 World Cup has gone up several notches on anything we have seen previously. I cant wait.

Why they have loads of heritage players to pick from.  Doueihi for example is becoming a real.talent

Depends how good those players are, which ones turn up for a World Cup on the other side of the world etc

John Dutton cannot be lost to RL after the WC. We should never have let Sally Bolton go after ‘13.

I think the bigger thing is putting the right effort in. Dutton oversaw a really poor 4N a couple of years back, but was involved with Bolton and Wood for the 2013 WC.

If we fund things properly, we can get better results, who'd have thought it?

So far they haven't put a foot wrong.

For me now, the big thing is getting corporate partners in. We currently have none. In 2013 we were announcing sponsors as we were kicking off. With what we have done so far, the one missing piece is corporates and surely they want to be involved with what we are currently doing?

That is the next big test as far as I'm concerned.

What is the situation with Lebanon now? Are they still fighting between the domestic lot and the aussie lot?

Think it's sorted

My friend on Facebook is on the committee

It was a dispute.between the players and the governing body I think

Yes, coming here in November is a leveller perhaps for Ireland, Scotland and France.

I sincerely hope they do turn up. Indeed a Europe based World Cup is an opportunity for mainly heritage based nations like Lebanon to perhaps go to the nation and do some work there. Perhaps a warm up camp?

This is quite a coup I think. Very few people will watch a draw live but being able to show a backdrop of Buck Palace on the news, future video clips etc, will give far more of an impression that this is a big deal than a leisure centre in Keighley.

As an example below is a keithley/Yorkshire leisure centre.

What an experience it will be for Greece as well playing 3 of the biggest rugby league nations in front of hopefully massive crowds. They'll probably be pretty happy with that draw cos realistically they probably aren't expecting to get through the group so getting some big game experience is certainly one of the next best thing to take from the world cup.

If we thought Lebanon had a lot of heritage players, you just watch how this Greek team will come together over the next 18 months or so. I'm going to put my neck on the line now and say they won't finish bottom of the group!

Hopefully now teams know who they're drawn against they can arrange test matches to play against eachother in the near future. France v Lebanon, Wales v Italy, Ireland v Greece, Jamaica v Italy for example. Hopefully we reach a point where these teams can play eachother soon
