All home wins apart from York / Halifax which is too close to call.  I fancy Dewsbury to turn Barrow over at home

Bradford Bulls v Newcastle Thunder KO 18:00
Featherstone Rovers v Whitehaven KO 17:30

SUNDAY 22nd MAY
Batley Bulldogs v London Broncos KO 15:00
Dewsbury Rams v Barrow Raiders KO 15:00
Leigh Centurions v Workington Town KO 15:00
York City Knights v Halifax Panthers KO 15:00

York & Bulls both having the home advantage, they will edge Fax and Newcastle respectively.

The other home wins are based on form and where they lie in the table.

Dewsbury did great against Featherstone but that may took a lot out of their tank and with the return of key players like Sammut & Forster I think Barrow edge a result.

Agree with ShropshireBull, all home bar Barrow, but think Fax still have a chance at York

Think Fax have a good chance against the Knights this Sunday - they will enjoy the big pitch and immaculate playing surface, and the Knights left Odsal a bit battered and bruised at the weekend. Pauli Pauli is suspended for the game, Mase Matongo went off injured and Danny Kirmond must be going on pure willpower at the moment. Our forwards will need patching up this week.....

Good news for the Knights is we've really got our defensive mojo back - I anticipate a very tight, low-scoring game.

PS this game is a double-header, with the Knights Ladies kicking off against St Helens at 12.00 - both games for the standard entry fee (£20, £15 concessions and under-16s free)

All home wins except for Dewsbury  and York. I think Barrow may get the win with Sammut returning and Halifax to just clinch a tight game too. It would be a huge win for Dewsbury if they do prevail, putting them on 6 pts with Whitehaven and cutting off Workington who face a long day at Leigh.

I won't bother with typing a prediction this week - I agree with this.

Leigh will play their second string against Workington. Will be interesting to see what the coupon says.

Cant believe York and Fax isnt on TV.

Yeah I suspect Leigh may rest a few, but out of a squad of 26 and a couple out injured who will be rested? Mr Lam said on Monday night that the new guy Fergie will definitely play and I should imagine Mr Lam will offer game time to Saints for at least a couple of Fringe players on DR.

They should still have enough to beat Workington BUT don't take them too easy, I was quite impressed with them when they played Barrow in the televised cup game, still expect who ever puts on the Cherry 'n White being full time will have to much for a part time team yet to record a victory by the final whistle.

@dkware you following your team? I will have a pint awaiting for you.

SATURDAY 21st MAY
Bradford Bulls v Newcastle Thunder Newcastle by 4
Featherstone Rovers v Whitehaven Fev by 54

SUNDAY 22nd MAY
Batley Bulldogs v London Broncos Batley by 20
Dewsbury Rams v Barrow Raiders Barrow by 10
Leigh Centurions v Workington Town Leigh by 70
York City Knights v Halifax Panthers Fax by 8

Once you get past the couple of blow out scores there are some interesting looking fixtures this week. Bulls V Thunder with both teams an outside chance of the playoffs, tough trip for Barrow and its one Dewsbury might fancy, the Monday night game Sheffield have a great chance to put a marker down as genuine play off contenders and then the tie of the round is the battle for 3rd. If York can win then they make themselves big favourites for 3rd position where a Fax win puts them and Batley back in with a good shout.

Think the Knights v Fax game will be close with the Knights having 8 players out injured.

So you saying it would be a hammering for us if you had all 8 playing? 😁

Just jesting, Im still expecting a really good tight game. York have been going about their business very nicely.
