KR will be doing well to keep it to a 25 or 30 point difference. I honestly can see Wigan putting on a massive score against the kids and youngsters.

I don't expect that KR will be able to do the same job as Leeds did on French and Field, stop these two and that is a big portion of Wigan's attacking threat nullified, saying that I expect a big margin on the scoreboard.

Rovers have three quarters of their salary cap unavailable for this game so clearly it's a matter of damage limitation.

There are several names in the 20 man squad that even Rovers fans will be unfamiliar with but prop forward Zach Fishwick who turned 17 a month ago returns after recovering from covid.

Under Danny McGuire and Brett Delaney Rovers have lacked nothing for effort and enthusiasm they are certainly going to need those qualities tonight.

Nothing less than 8 tries for Bevan French will satisfy me tonight.

Before DS explodes, I am of course joking.

But, as with a Hull FC team ready to capitulate at the slightest hint of an onslaught, I think Rovers will really struggle to contain Wigan with so many missing.

Wigan 58 Hull KR 0.

(See what I did there...)

This is going to be like watching games involving the other pro team in the Borough of Wigan, all one way traffic in as much as it gets boring.

Hull KR aren’t part-time tho’!

Did I say anything about that, I said "games involving" meaning they are one sided just as this will be/is.

PS hopefully Saturday will be much more of a contest.

It won't.
