Awful news to wake up to. Spent a long evening in his company back in 1997 and he was a top bloke.

Damn shame, we don`t have many Premiership winning coaches and I was looking forward to seeing the likes of him and Flanagan getting back into a head coaching role and to see if they could lift another club out of mediocrity. We need more top-line coaches.

Same here.  But I was struggling to think of another Paul Green whilst I clicked on to the OP.

Huge loss to the sport. Top notch coach and, by all accounts, a thoroughly decent man.

The Cowboys are my NRL team and 2015 was the best, but maybe now fitting that this year they're having another tilt.

Pal of mine knew Paul well going back to his days a Wynnum. He was doing some stats work with him and had met with him as recently as last week. Says he was his usual self with no evidence of any issues.

As much a mystery as a tragedy sadly.  Hope his family have the appropriate support now and in the future to get through this.
