Can't see beyond a Leigh win, I'm sorry to say. Beaumont will be out there, rousing the fans and the players, whilst Lenagan...won't.

There's a pattern to the way Leigh are playing, whilst we look and feel like 13 players just having a go. Maybe the skills of some individual Wigan players (or combination of 2 or 3) will swing the result our way, so perhaps a close result.

My predictions continue to be as accurate as ever.😀😀😀

Amazing no one else spotted it even the TV,was you watching last week's game on catch up.

Look at it again. He recklessly took off from distance, a la human cannonball. It was exactly the same technique that seriously injured Saints’ players. If you hurl yourself through the air you can’t control the impact. Anyway, we are finished playing you for this year, so we are no longer at risk.

Dupree looks like the sort of prop we haven’t had for a decade. A big and mobile player. When Havard gets back, he can replace Byrne, and we will suddenly find ourselves with a decent pack of good size.

Having played Leigh at home this week end, I see we play Hull KR at home next Friday. Given that both of them have their minds firmly on a much bigger occasion, that is extraordinarily fortuitous.

Gotta go to Leigh again yet

Last statement shows how much you know, In the 70/80s Leigh had a Wigan lad (I think he was from Wigan) Denis Boyd who was thd best exponent of taking off airborne to effect tackles, he did nothing wrong and neither does John Asiata.

i missed the match today on C4 and i'm really annoyed about it.  Can anyone tell me, how long it takes to become available on the ''watchback'' facility?

I just looked and their only offering St. Helens v Salford which was the last game, (ages ago).

If it turns up before too long, i'll wait and watch it today.

Thanks (in anticipation) for the advice.

That dosnt count when Saints or Wigan do it.

Maybe. Maybe not. I doubt you would hold back in pointing out a Wigan player doing that.

I couldn’t care less what Leigh do. In fact, I hope they win at Wembley. A week after causing a lot of damage to a lot of limbs using this technique he goes again. My sole concern is making our players come through unscathed. Which they did today.

Oh, and I appreciate it’s widening the whole what is wrong with Leigh debate, but I wonder whether Wigan will draw attention to Hardaker’s attempted eye gouge on Farrell?

Looked to me like Dupree lifted the leg up just at the right moment, if his foot was planted on the floor, his leg would have been very vulnerable.

I hope this isn't creeping into the game, I saw a similar effort by James Bell last night, difference being that Bell wasn't advancing forwards so the impact wasn't as heavy, nevertheless, still a tackle which risks injury.

I wasn't sure if that technique was illegal. The RFL last week said it was but this style of tackle where there is no wrapping of the arms needs to be reviewed and I'd suggest sooner than the end of the season. The players that use that style also place their head in a very vulnerable position and place themselves at risk of injury.

For Leeds 2015 against Hull KR ,50-0.

Is it available to watch anywhere?

I was thinking more the new Sam Tompkins or Rob Burrows.

Or even Sam TOMKINS and Rob BURROW?

It's not like they're new faces in the sport, surely everyone should know their correct names by now!!

Sorry just me being a pedant.

Jeez what happened to Leigh's defence, it looked like ours a few weeks ago.

Wasn't expecting that, always baffles me how the likes of Hardaker, Mellor, O'Brien and Chaimberlain are still playing Super League, never seen anything from them that suggests they are of such a standard, though i don't watch them every week

Oooops!

Is spelling correct incorrectly the definition of irony?

(Yeah, I know it was just a typo 😉)

Only thing I get fed up of is teams moaning about bad tackles etc BUT when it go's for them they think it's ok. Wigan fully deserved the win today.

Just back from the stadium (Well checked in at my hotel in Warrington) excellent display from Wigan,Leigh looked really good in the first 20 mins fantastic shape but after that a different story.

A couple of drinks with the Leigh hierarchy after the game Derek in good form took the defeat like a gentleman all in all great day (Left at 5-40am this morning only 4 hours Sevenoaks to Wigan:)))

Video up on my you tube channel tomorrow with some great clips of some old famous trophies that Wigan have.

Now for a nice dinner glass or 2 of wine bed and then back down soffff to watch the Broncos tomorrow .

Goodnight:)
