Wigan win. Leigh with one eye on the cup final, but also, the performance at Salford was pretty poor, and for the most part were reliant on goal line defence against saints.

Wigan will be smarting after Sunday and Leigh battered and bruised. Leutele out for season and O Donnell another game on suspension. Wigan will expose our left defence with pace and win by 2 scores.

I didn't Fancy Leythers chances on Saturday with one eye on Wembley, but after seeing how positive  Lam was in his pre match interview I'm going for Leigh to sneak it by 2 points.

It was a fixture most Leythers picked out in Feb, now it doesn’t matter after last weekend. Following will be massively affected, may even be less than Wigan bring to ours - which was about 2300.

Expecting Wigan to do us as they'll be hurting from last weekend. As long as we keep it close and it's a good game i don't mind. We've got Joe Wardle back so it'll be good to see him get some minutes after really struggling in the back row for much of the season. Hoping Aaron Smith gets a game in Ipape's absence too as i think he's underrated and been unlucky not to get more games this year.

Can't see beyond a Leigh win, I'm sorry to say. Beaumont will be out there, rousing the fans and the players, whilst Lenagan...won't.

There's a pattern to the way Leigh are playing, whilst we look and feel like 13 players just having a go. Maybe the skills of some individual Wigan players (or combination of 2 or 3) will swing the result our way, so perhaps a close result.

Is Asiata playing? no doubt Wigan players will be avoiding him and his 'saint-bashing head' giving him the freedom of the borough and a handsome 14 point Leigh win.

Hope they've sorted coach parking already too as time is dragging on.

At present (and indeed for most of the season) Leigh are playing the better rugby. They've got 3 great middles in Asiata, Amone and Mulhern and containing them and limiting their impact will be key. We've got 3 players who can make a similar impact in Ellis, Smithies and now Dupree. A good performance from those 3 will go a long way to determining the game in my opinion.

Leigh's middles have been putting in consistently good performances whereas for Wigan it's been Havard and Ellis playing consistently well, but since round 9 they've not playing a SL game together. Smithies is hit and miss. On his day he's outstanding but his form dips at times.

Around that middle group we've got some good players but we need to get it right in the middle of the field to give the playmakers and outside backs a chance. That's still our biggest weakness and has been all year. Hopefully the arrival of Dupree can change that.

I see no reason for Leigh to drop off. Their form is good and they should continue that. Wigan have home advantage but Leigh got a bit embarrassed at the LSV earlier in the year and they'll want to put that right.

I reckon 28-20 to Leigh and maybe a couple of cards, but I hope Wigan rise to this challenge like they did earlier in the year.

Difference with Peet and the first game is that they Marked Lam out of the game. He was ineffective.

Leigh need to Keep the foot on the gas but it will be a minor miracle if we turn Wigan over away for the first time in 40 years !

Hope not, but I wouldn't like us to get a bout of Wembleyitis.

Need to keep the performances going H. HKR going from strength to strength and if Leigh need to showcase that they mean business, small squad or not, it’s back to the drawing board and playing for their place at Wembley !

Have I missed the post about how many coach loads of leopard print wearing Leigh hordes are going?

Anyway, I think this may be the game where Leigh come unstuck (I've been thinking this for weeks though).

The emotion of last week may take something out of them and Wigan could do a job on them, on the other hand, Leigh just don't look like losing do they?

I'd like to thank those good folk behind the OurLeague app for sending me a reminder to my phone that this is on Channel 4 today else I might well have forgotten.

Looking forward to it, I think Leigh will win by a couple of scores.

As chairman of Huddersfield Supporters are you a little jealous of a town of 41,000 with so much support?
