All home apart from Fax v Fev.  Fax could beat Fev, but I think Fev to edge it.  Fancy Haven over Eagles and York over tolouse.  London now on Holiday, and Keighley are pactically down now

Eagles away have been awful, except at Fev, where they nearly won with 11 men for long periods. If they'd carried their home form onto the road they'd be comfortably second.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

Seems the predictions are split for both Batley and Bradford this week, not seen much of both this season but I watched Bradford on Monday night, and can't say I was overly impressed, with how the league positions are and Batley at Home they would be my choice.

I think under normal conditions Batley would win this game pretty easily but with Wembley next week players will have one eye on that so it makes it a bit more interesting.

Dear TRL,

Oi! So, what's this then?

Every single week the Championship fixtures thread is confusingly and unnecessarily split up into "non-TV" and the televised game.

Now, suddenly, when Fev are finally on for once instead of Bradford, we're all mixed in together again.

Why oh why oh why has that happened? I think we should be told.

It's anti-Fev discrimination, that is. We've been sold down the river.

Yours,

Outraged of Purston.

Newcastle 0, Widnes 26. Very competent half from Widnes at a blustery Kingston Park.

Coach sticking with more or less the same team as past few weeks. Craven & Owens named on squad but not picked. We seem to be doing better without them in the side (and everybody else playing in the right position)
