Emotional stuff from Lewis post-match. You could tell how much it meant to him.

Brilliant interview from Mikey Lewis. Shows how much it means to be selected for England to be that emotional. That's the sort of commitment you want.

No doubt we'll see Tyson Frizell in tears telling us how much it means to represent Wales Australia Tonga.

He was better in the WC last year, but thought Knowles was much better than Radley today.

I had predicted that Knowles wouldn't make the 17 but with McMeeken in the front row rotation, I am glad Knowles for the nod.

I thought his physical presence was valuable in the middle, he was strong in contact with and without the ball.

Thought Radley got his head in the wrong place on a tackle early on he didn’t really do much after that.

Aye agreed. I thought McMeekan was our best forward followed by Knowles.

Did you mention Lees earlier? I noted his ineffectiveness with ball in hand really earlier on. He’s not big enough for this level. Great in defence but you need to make yards too. So I’d be giving Mulhern or Dupree a game next week.

I thought McKeeken was outstanding - his defence in particular. Several times when he came out of the line to cut off an overlap, or tracked back to close down a break.

He was my motm tbh I thought he was outstanding he lifted our pack when he came on. We were losing the ruck until he came on imo.

He hasn’t changed…

He also thinks Radley is our best player. 😳😂

Sat in his Mum’s spare bedroom in Penrith, in his late thirties, issuing dull missives on his smartphone to nobody in particular to somehow try and overcome his depressing real-world existence. It’s quite amusing really. 🤣🤣🤣

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

I feel a bit harsh critiquing Lees because I think he did a great job on Fanua-Blake early in the game stopping his momentum with some superb low tackles.

But over the 80, I do think we need more from a front rower.

Overhyped?

Think they have more hype than their ability, both been in NRL gets them a bigger prestige but neither as stood out in NRL tbh. And I’m not so sure either would in SL now tbh.

Never been a fan of whitehead or bateman think they’ve always been over Hyped imo, but I’m not sure we’ve any better at the moment, but like Lewis unless they get given a chance we will never know.

What about KPP or Nicholson?

Good first test. Plenty of players from both sides wouldn’t  have played for a while, so sure there’s more to come.

plenty of  improvement in both teams, and with the added jeopardy a 2nd test always brings, it should be an even better game.

can’t wait.
