Watch it again, he barely touched him.

The ref got it spot on.

I watched it, several times. He did more than enough to a player running that way with that momentum to force him player to go over so close to the hoardings. I'm staggered you think otherwise.

Thaler was going to no try that.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Thewlis shouldn’t touch the ball after it’s dead in fact it’s an automatic yellow for slowing the restart down. That’s what Conner was frustrated with.

Agreed.

Thewlis could easily have stayed on his feet but chose not to, a bit like Philbin earlier. Professionalism at it's worst.

The biggest sport in the world sees this kind of behaviour and worse all the time.

But the fans were nobs.

Nice from Powell telling the wire fans to stop throwing stuff.

Hopefully they're banned from going to Wembley to serve them right for being morons.

Looks like I am in agreement with the officials.

That's what's staggering me.

He was running in that direction for the ball to keep it in. Connor even goes to nudge him before he even touches the ball. He can't just disappear.

Apparently it's not as bad as letting the wider public see skilful, length of the field tries being scored.

I'd have thought he was doing a Huddersfield a favour slowing the restart down, given how garbage they are.

Did the official say that Thewlis did a Swan Dive, missed that.

Connor slowed down the ptb but Thewlis shot his hand into Connor's face.

Perhaps both should have been in the bin.

Especially in this economy

Having spent this weekend in London (we won’t mention the football), I wholeheartedly agree 🤕

So Thewlis pushes Conner in the face weren’t Wire fans calling for this to be penalised when Knowles did it to him.

Absolutely.

Connor deserved the yellow but Thewlis should have gone with him for the hand in the face.
