8000 plus average, great financials, great stadium and facilities, fantastic match day experience, highly competitive, LD teams, women undefeated, Junior structures in place and academy 2025

You really have a problem

Leigh will grow their crowds by clever targeting area like Bolton (Which i know is part of the plan) being just off the East Lancs road is quite a nice location for someone driving there.

Thought HKR was taking their usual 10000 ? 😩😂😂

How when they don't get allocated 10,000? Stupid joke imo.

Leigh should not only target the metropolitan borough of Bolton for fans but also players i.e. school coaching clinics at primary and secondary school levels.

Don't Wigan already play in that space? Should they be sharing that work?

It’s a big enough area for both and would be great for RL in Bolton area.

Leigh have been in Bolton for a few years now, but SL exposure will grow it quicker. As stated earlier the LSV location means a 15 min drive attracts a huge population, for most Salford fans the LSV is quicker to get to

My point being that needs coordination. A free for all creates overlap and wastage.

Ideally yes but not sure if both clubs would do so.

maybe both fund a Bolton school’s tournament?

If Leigh have any clobber, next seasons game v Wigan should be at the Reebok stadium (sorry, I can’t call the stadium any other name).

LSV is too small and would be a great way for both clubs to grow the game in one of the biggest Towns in the UK. Could easily be 20k plus.

Degsy missing a trick.

Cmon, Rover, you know me better than that.

A little bit of mischief doesn’t go amiss. We all Know HKR are the biggest club in Hull and come to every away game in their millions. Won’t be any stands left in the LSV next Friday for us poor Leigh fans 😉😂😂

That’s a good shout.

if ever Wigan and Leigh meet in the challenge cup semi-final it would be a great neutral venue.

Lots of clubs should do this, especially with loop fixtures. Leigh vs Wigan as you describe, but also Leeds vs Cas v3 at Elland Road, or Wigan vs Saints or Warrington vs Saints in a larger venue in Manchester or Liverpool.

Widnes v York 2,663

Wanted to go to this game today but looked at the forecast 😩

Going to be interesting in the playoffs for sure as York peaking at the right time.

Considering how poor the weather is down the road here in Appleton, not a bad attendance.

Salfords crowd looks a bit better than usual - looks like that promotion on lower ticket prices has worked.

I feared the ground would look almost empty for the bbc game

They were free on a website i use.

I sanitised the last line, but this is where I stole it from...

Most of the lines seem to suit Giants, it seems 😉

(It seems that's a longer clip the one I originally saw - different breed, those soccer chaps, but you get the idea.

Does anyone know the average weekly SL crowds for this season so far? Is it up or down?

From my reckoning with half the round 25 figures in and a season of estimating Hull KR figures, it's down 1.2%.

If anyone has the KR numbers. please let me know.
