We are now to play the league overwhelming favourites.

We conceded 50 last time we met, when we were confident from the Ike victory. I maybe am deluded but I expect a good performance in this game but not a win unfortunately.

A win is extremely unlikely, but with Bennett referring who knows, our only hope is he hates Oldham more than he openly hates Town.

Why does Mr. Bennett hate Oldham? Does he come from Rochdale?

I didn’t say he did, I said our only hope of a competitive game is IF he hates Oldham more than us.

Is that ever possible  .I cant ever remember a game he's been in charge , where I have thought  he was fair .He favours the away team every time . You can just see it ,its a close game ,the away team losing , and he gets them down in our 20m line with penalties  ,  Hoping they will go over for a try . I dont know what it is with him .   By all accounts the officials are treated very well  who come to Workington  , Or is it  they don't like the distance they have to travel . there must be something why we get some really bad decisions . Im not saying we dont give daft penaties  away at times , which need addressed . but some of the Referees decisions are bewildering . Anyway hope we finally get a bit of luck  on Sunday  and get some good backing from the supporters  UTT.

We are going to get tonked. A thing which always get me in matches like this is we might be 50 down with 10 to go and the ref awards an offside against us. Like it matters 😂

After 6 games I think we'd have all been looking forward to town looking to turn them over at home and closing the gap on them and keighley. Now I'd be happy to keep the score below 50 and looking over our shoulders at Cornwall. Get this season over asap

the futures bright, the futures blue and white

He doesnt have to come from Rochdale to hate Oldham, but if he does there is a pretty good chance he will.

I think on Sunday the best we can hope for is a much improved defensive display  , no more injuries and no daft rushing in with players getting needlessly suspended , discipline is King .

Away for this one again, I used to plan my trips away around Town games but didn’t this season so I’ve only seen 2 league and the Ike game. Maybe it’s a reflectionn on the poor league we play in, I still hate being away when Town are playing, best of luck boys and UTT.

Game day, I know there's a lot of doom & gloom about at the minute but I think we will give them a game. I still remember playing Fev with half a team and our fitness coach on the wing, and bagging the win. They will rightly be big favourites but if we can sort our our at times woeful defence we have players that can hurt them and anything can happen in rugby league. UTT

The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!
