Equal worse finish didn’t they finish the regular season in 6th in 2017.

Only if you think the regular season didn't include the 8s, as Saints made the playoffs that year which were for the top 4.
It is open to interpretation, but I think the end of the regular season is when the playoffs start.

The LLS was awarded to include super 8s fixtures, therefore the top 8 was considered regular season. For those in the middle 8 the regular season ended after 23 games.

Fair enough forgot that was when the 8s were about.

This has the potential to be an absolute cracker.I hope Leigh wins of course, but i hope that Rugby league is the ultimate winner. Some viewer who doesn't watch RL may tune in this evening and get blown away with the speed and skill that rugby league can deliver.I just hope the referee let's the game flow..No yellow no reds..If needed put the incident on report but let's play 13 v 13....

Hunsletgreenandgold.

I did not understand your. "eh?"

Please regale me with a more suitable response as I'm scratching my head .

I was trying to big up the match so much so Sky would place it on a mainstream sky sports channel rather than sky plus ..I believe they have now.

I could have perambulated round my primary post ,but thought just to go in and write what i was thinking. .I was trying not to be Galvanic as that will happen at 8pm..

Thank you

Should have ended at the split.

This decision has nothing to do with Hull being top in 2016 at that stage...

I’m guessing that he meant that if someone (let’s say Matty Lees) goes in with a head shot, he shouldn’t be let off.

Saints get away with that sort of thing all the time. That was a sin bin offence by Welsby.

I don't think there has been many games this year that we haven't had a yellow and/or a red card.

Saints got away with 2 clear infringements at the play the ball.

Is anybody surprised. The amount of wrong calls from Officials for balls ripped given as knock ons or vice versa and decisions similar to this I’d be more shocked if they get it correct.

Refs less than a meter from play on Asiata try and still can’t get it right. Good job games are televised this year but it’s certainly highlighting the poor officiating more than ever.
