Futtocks Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 15 minutes ago, DavidM said: Yes started last night There's a lot to like about this version, but most of all Siegfried. Robert Hardy was wonderful in the BBC version, but Samuel West does a great job in his own way. Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Adelaide Tiger Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 The wife and I finally got round to watching the 3 episodes of ‘Time’. Cracking tv for me. First time that the wife had ever gone 3 hours without speaking. I have just emailed Jimmy McGovern to write another series ….. preferably one 24 episodes long next time!
Futtocks Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Coming next Sunday. Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Ralph Waldo Emerson

An adaptation of My Uncle Oswald would be fairly saucy, and a nice earner for various historical lookalike actors. Bedford Roughyed Posted September 26, 2021 Author Posted September 26, 2021 Highly recommend 'The Last Mountain' (BBC2 iPlayer). A tough watch at times, but quite extraordinary. Some brutal cold attitudes on show, as well as the brutal cold mountain. With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
Futtocks Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 I know it divides opinions about whether it is funny or not, but The Goes Wrong Show have a new series starting tonight on BBC1 at 8:30. The Peter Pan Christmas episode from a few years ago was like nothing I'd even seen, unfortunately the subsequent episodes were like what I had just seen.

ivans82 Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Massively disappointed with the 3 new episodes of Endeavour recently , very contrived story lines that barely hung together , 1

DavidM Posted October 7, 2021 Posted October 7, 2021 I enjoy watching Crash Detectives . I like things like that … Air Crash Investigation & Disasters At Sea . These investigators are just amazing . ‘Well here’s a 747 that’s been obliterated … the first thing we do is collect the bits and put it back together ‘

redjonn Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 At long last our area TV mast has been fixed and we can get all our channels after months. Was able to watch Talking TV again, a real corny film called the Lady on the Pier... but was good to watch the old street scenes and Brighton Pier... with some of the old corny entertainment that use to always be on our Piers... 1
Phil Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 Just re-watching COBRA on tv, northerners cast as semi barbaric bad guys "Freedom without socialism is privilege and injustice, socialism without freedom is slavery and brutality" - Mikhail Bakunin
