There's no interest and zero development. There are more deserving countries we should focus on, but RL ignores them as they're not in the Six Nations.

I'm not sure on this. There could be interest if pitched correctly. Not being Union helps with the football lot.

I think France will turn up tomorrow. England will win but won't be a full on blowout and Jamaica will do better than Scotland have tonight. Obviously NZ will still win by 50/60

These will be to two outs, but a 50 point loss for France will be worse than an 80 point loss for Jamaica.

That was better.

Oh FFS.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

There is a strange thought amongst some RL fans that every single game has to be a classic. In an World Cup across all sports there are spankings.

Difference is it happens every tournament for Scotland and they have zero homegrown players or development. Can anyone honestly say they'd be missed in 2025?

I like watching a very good Rugby League team play great Rugby League.

We know that if Australia play anyone outside of the top 3 or 4 nations they will run up a high score.  So what, the best teams wins games.

What are we supposed to do, be embarrassed by how good they are.

P****d off with all this negativity tbh years ago when either South Africa or the all blacks, I forget which put something like 150 on Namibia it was celebrated as a fine display, let’s enjoy Australia and stop slagging off this Scotland team, ok they’re going nowhere but some of these comments are out of order imo

You also have blow out scores in football like Brazil 1 v Germany 7 in 2014.

The difference here is Scotland ain‘t scottish and have no passion, identity, and pride… unlike to your Namibia example

Not to mention a big part of union fans constantly bagging the tournament.

I don’t even understand why Scotland are allowed in the tournament. The IRL states you must have at least a 4 domestic competition. Scotland don’t have that, they shouldn’t be near the World Cup.

Which is true. It's not the way the media reports it though, is it?

No, but that's another battle, which will take time and subtlety to make headway in.

Very pragmatic refereeing that, well done.

Because they didn't have a shed full of fake Yanks, Canadians and Serbs.

How do you know they didn’t?

Matty Russell is a genuine Scot and proud, so for the likes of him I feel sorry for
