Ireland remind me of a semi-pro side playing a full time team in the Challenge Cup. Physically they just can’t cope.

Ireland are the biggest disappointment of the world cup for me (possibly Scotland, though I expected a lot less of Scotland) though I accept they've had some adversity tonight.

Perhaps only award a 6 again if inside your opponents 20 or 10. Anything outside of that is a penalty and you kick for touch.

Less than 40 points behind on the hour, even against a somewhat clunky Kiwi side - that's pretty impressive when  you consider where each side sources their players.

I think 6 again allows dominant teams to bully the opposition with little risk. The balance is out imho.

Irish discipline is massively letting them down. They've got a lot of heart and mongrel about them, but not much brains are times.

I remember Rugby League before the six again came in and it was penalty after penalty after penalty.  I really don't fancy going back to that.

Oh, I completely agree. There was more to come from this Ireland side, but they didn't live up to all their potential. But it was still a respectable scoreline (at the time).

Another try though, and no doubt more to come.

As ive said i hate it. That and the so called ptb are not good changes to the game.

Quicker we get rid the better imo.
