No issue with the Saints bans. Appears the records of Sironen and Matautia go before them and Hurrell was always going to get 2-4, wasn’t he?

Walters fined retrospectively for a shoulder charge rankles a little, as it was missed during the game.

Yes the Walters one is the big talking point.

I believe it's 50/50 looks like a shoulder charge but they have a defence case as there's no rotation etc.

I'm happy either way

It wasn't missed it was seen, discussed by the officials and deemed not to be a shoulder charge.

You missed out the word incorrectly, given he was found guilty of a shoulder charge by the disciplinary.

No issues with the saints bans - think the Sironen one is harsh but has previous.

Just been to the..

...site to look at the disciplinary cases.

The one that interests me the Maxine Stefani case described as 'player comes into a melee but does not throw any punches.'  No charge.

All good.  But the game is listed as being played on the 25th March 2023.

Now that is the basis for a conspiracy theory.

Officials make a call on what they see live. Personaly I thought they were right at the time but if the review panel think differently after having the benefit of looking at all the video footage I'm fine with it.

I think Hurrell got off light considering what he did.

You lost get over it.

We may have lost but according to the MRP we shouldn't have done. Penalty for shoulder charge given, we take the two and win. Simple as.

The ref probably missed loads of penalties all through the game, they often do. Leeds could trawl through the game and pick out 'injustices', you lost get over it.

It rankles with me to say the process which that other code has in which video referees have a greater overall overseeing role appears to work better in bridging that weakness.

When the video ref had more input loads of people whinged, in fact the complaints were enough for the RFL to decide less is best and stopped it.

You had an opportunity to kick a simple penalty earlier.

Guess what, you still lost.

if you’re playing that game you should have had 3 players red carded according to the MRP.

Some Saints fan’s reaction to this game has been absolutely hilarious

If Sironen hadn't already been in the bin LMS would definitely had taken his place

Indeed , in my opinion they got off lightly and should be grade Z referred straight to the Old Bailey . Recommended punishment 6 months in the electric chair

Or Saints go for goal, miss and Leeds run length of field to win.

Numerous narratives to suit which ever outcome you want.

Agreed, fans only remember the incidents that went against their team, never the ones for.

Can't really complain about the bans our players picked up this week. Three needless and avoidable tackles and deserved suspensions. We need to clean up our act to avoid the number of bans we picked up last year.

Think the Walters call was right too. I've no doubt it was a shoulder charge but don't think it was worthy of a ban or a card. Wouldn't have minded a penalty being given for it on Friday night though!

Here's the Kenny Dowall incident. Quite similar to one that Sione Mata'utai got sent off for and received a three match ban.

Dragging players back up has been treated harshly for a few years now and rightly so.
