That's good centre play from Newman.  Not always been in his skill set so a very good sign of development.

Excellent catch and pass, far too often he's took the line on in that situation.

Good shot into Radley's ribs there as he passed.

Frizell was committed; a home ref giving a penalty there is a weak call.

Ashton crosses for a try, after the harsh penalty.

Terrible call from the ref; they gave a pen because the player stayed down.

So despite having a recent World Cup with a respectable list of sponsers we find ourselves with No series sponsor, no referee sponsor and poor ticket sales. RL commercial must have forgotten to call Fred Done

I don't see why that is a penalty.  He took the ball to the line to take contact and so why is the defender penalised.

No way was it a pen; into the ribs and committed.

Shocking call.

I suspect Radley staying down winded gave the visual of a penalty offence. Weak reffing.

It's annoying how many times Woods has brought up RU. I don't care for it - if I did I'd watch it instead.

Don't think its Dave woods.

I have just looked on linkedin out of interest to see who they are. Not exactly got a solid track record in selling top level sport.

Wrong thread. This one is for moaning about today's game. Moaning about IMG has its own specialised thread.

Great tackle Ashton!

Yes. Shows the value of genuine pace in defence as well as attack.
