Thanks for this. Disappointing the £99 offer isn't extended to Championship and L1 season ticket holders. Would jump at that sub hundred quid price point but at £130 it is stretching the budget a bit. Also, do we know whether there is the ability to cast to tv from the Android app?

Yes - my app gave me the option to cast to my tv the other day when I tested it.

You don't! Don't pay twice.

It may not be logical but I will.  As a family, we have subscriptions to Disney+, Amazon Prime, Netflix and who knows how many other channels.

I don't care about the success of these but I do with Rugby League so I will sign up to do my small part to make it a success.

I'll more than likely sign up for the 12 months although I would much prefer to have a dedicated superleague+ app on my fire stick before I do.

I have emailed an enquiry but as it stands they have no information about when it will be available on the fire stick.

There's an extra cost to getting an app on the Amazon marketplace, as opposed to Google and Apple. Some creators just don't bother - WatchNRL for instance. That's been going for years and they still have no Fire app.

Hopefully one will turn up but I won't hold my breath. I saw your post earlier in the thread regarding how you access it so I could always do that if need be.

Cheers for the info.

Okay, first let us know what equipment you are using.

Is it a smart TV?

or

Do you have a Fire TV Stick, Roku or Chromecast plugged into the TV?

and

Do you have an Android or Apple smartphone?

Not really sure whether this is value for money or not, i won't be getting it as i go to 90% of my clubs matches anyway and not really fussed about other games that aren't on tv (i don't pay for Sky) so it's really aimed at those who don't or won't go to games, guess this gives them even more reason not to now.

Will anyone actually buy it and watch every game live?

Maybe not live but on Demand yes. i do with Watch NRL so will likely do the same with SL+!

I do worry that it's set up for failure somewhat by the fact that Sky is a better proposition than SL+ (although it is substantially more expensive too).

Ill be sticking with Sky to guarantee the biggest games live on tv, but I do hope there are enough fans who take up SL+

It’s objectively great value for money, whether its great value for money for you personally is subjective.

Why does it matter if the games are watched live? I often watch games after the event

Same here. I WFH and it makes for excellent background noise in the office. 👌🏼

Yup, WFH I end up with things like cricket or tennis on in the background. It'll be nice to watch more RL instead.

I impress myself sometimes. Teams call on the laptop, one eye on the TV sport and typing away on Total RL on my mobile.

I deserve a raise!
