Right then, first match thread of 2024, lets' see how this one goes.

It may be the last if it descends into off-topic arguments about anything other than the match in question, or people accusing match officials of being biased or corrupt.

Good luck everyone...

So far the match officials in this have been exemplary

Keep it up refs and touchies

Ridiculous queues to get into the away end. Several hundred metres. Hull FC in their infinite wisdom didn’t open the gates until 10 minutes ago.

This stuff isn’t hard 🙄🙄🙄

I like this way of announcing the teams a lot and presume its going to be the same for all games. Simple but effective and it is again digital output that generates clicks and talking points.

Sam Tomkins and Kyle Amor are significant improvements to the sky line up. Build up to the game has been great.

Sams excellent, talks a lot of sense and is very well spoken.

Sounds like a good atmosphere ahead of kick off, it could be very special as the game gets going.

Would agree with you there. Been a great build up so far.

Is that a full build up with no ads?

Yep, first ads just on pre kick off.

Good build up.

I'm following this on BBC Radio commentary. Sounds like the joint is jumping!

This game feels massive, I'm unsure if it's someone putting pressure on SKY to up their game (IMG or RFL) but it's absolutely fantastic to see.
