I just did something I never thought I would do. I picked FC for the win over Saints.

Saints are in a hole and their absentee list is impressive....in a negative way.

It takes wisdom to know when a discussion has run its course.

It takes reasonableness to end that discussion.

It's a great time to play Saints but unfortunately we are missing a lot too. Especially in the forwards. I'm sure we will take the game to them though and with a bit of fortune maybe we can get a result.

The Hull forwards this week worry me especially if Ese Ese doesn't make it. Soa, Ashworth, King and Cartwright sat in the stands leaves Hull with a very small and inexperienced pack.

Effort will be good but think Saints will break their losing streak by dominating in the forwards.

I'd say pretty much h everyone in the country to the west of the river Hull will be hoping you are correct

Welsby out makes Thier chance of a top four finish now unlikely for me...defensively he has carried that team and prevented bigger losses

Morgan Knowles back at 13, and Joe Batchelor on the subs bench. Lewis Dodd been selected also. So their forward are strong, just the backs that are a little weak. If Hull play well, it could be a close game. Still think Saints will win after getting stuffed last week.

Officials get so much stick but credit to Marcus Griffiths there. It felt like being one of those 'it's almost certainly not a try but the ref gave it a try so I'll go with it' sort of decisions. Great defence from Hull and well rewarded.

I thought we might have had a chance today, then looked at the team sheet.

We've got so many kids on. Think only one overseas player in the team. They were never going to keep up intensity for a full game against a side like Saints.

Have Sky mentioned our injuries? Or has it all been about Saints?

Harsh yellow card for Fash there he was in contact as Bell released the ball.

I'm all for cracking down on dangerous or illegal contact, but that wasn't either of those.

I switched channels at that point.

Pro RL is for spectators, the referee group should take note of that fact. When a game ceases to be logical, spectators will turn away from the game as a whole.
