If that game was shown to a man whose been locked in an empty room all his life, he'd say this sport couldn't be beaten!

Incredible

I think he'd probably say let me out

It feels like this weekend shows that the playoff has real life and this is what we should be selling them on next year. It is world class sport.

Yeah, in my mind he is on a similar level to a homegrown London player, as we brought him over here for our SL season in 2019 and he has flourished ever since in this country.

Always love seeing him do well.

Does that give Broncos some IMG points?

God. Don’t know what to say. Amazing game. Amazing effort from both teams, particularly us as we’ve awful all year. But so frustrating still. We threw it away. Gifted 4 tries. And then imploded in golden point!! Arrrrggggghhhhhh…

Great game. Well done Warrington. FFS. Superb game.

Saints raised their game from the last 4 months and a few big game players who have had spells out injured in that time really stood up and showed what we were missing. Unfortunately they weren't able to completely shake off the recent habit of throwing some daft errors and silly mistakes which ultimately cost the game.

Well done to Warrington. I think they will need to improve on that when facing the likes of Wigan as they won't be gifted some of those tries however if they manage to be top of their game then the likes of Williams, Dufty et al can tear holes in any team and go on and win it. Good luck to them, and hopefully in as dramatic and exciting a fashion as this evening.

Humourous, passionate, and fair analysis from Wilkin here.

He seems to be carried along on the wave of energy to the occasion.

''That's connected me back with the sport that I love tonight.''

What a great quote from him!

On this angle, I believe he has placed the ball down before his toes hit the ground outside the line.

Take it back a frame, Makinson's ankle has already turned at that point. Its really not as close as you are wanting it to be.😉

@Harry Stottle says George Williams doesn't do much in a game. Thought his contribution was handy tonight.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Yeah, Williams was deserving of his MOTM. That round-the-corner ball on HT was a massive play, and would have made them go in as favourites with a pep in their step.

At this point his toes are on the ground you can tell from how his ankle rolls from this point in the next few frames. I'm surprised better quality is not used for these but it still looked pretty obvious.

Then it would be a penalty for interfering with the marker

It was deemed to be a loss of "balance and control".

a knock on for an incorrect PTB.

There is no such thing. The knock-on rule doesn't apply after the tackle is complete.

Not many giving Saints a chance which is understandable.

But there seems to be an old witches curse on Warrington when it comes to winning the big one.

May the curse be with you, always! 😉

(Come on Saints!)

I don't know where you get this curse in the big games from ?

Weve beaten saints in the play offs on the way to 3 of our 4 grand final appearances I do believe, and the last time we played each other in a cup final, Wembley 2019, the "curse" most definitely was not present!

2009 Warrington 25 Hudderfield 16

2010 Warrington 30 Leeds 6

2011 League Leaders Shield Winners

2012 Warrington 35 Leeds 18

Challenge cups and league leaders shields everywhere! We need more silver polish!

Not been champions in the Super Leagie era.

Thats the big one I am referring to there.

That's a really niche marketing campaign.

But hey, it's worth a try.

Daryl Powell auditioned for it last year but finally came out of his box after about an hour😀

You know what, I think I've seen every single one of Williams play off games, semi finals or finals and that is the first one he's really made his own. It's been well over due because he showed tonight that when he is on, he is World Class. Him and Ipape have come up with 2 mesmerising displays these past 2 nights.

His vision and game awareness put Wigan in front in the 2018 GF, and they never looked back.   Ratchford stood out more for his individual effort and won the HS Trophy.

Best game in the world when it is played like that, absolutely incredible. And genuinely I think that for 60 minutes at least, maybe more, Saints battered us tonight. We got on top as their forwards started to tire, but I'm not sure we have the grunt to win two games and win the league. I hope I'm wrong.

Williams, King, Ashton and Dufty were sensational. But so was the effort from Saints, and they hammered us in the battle for territory and in speed of play for large parts of that.

We finished the game with yates, philbin and Powell as the middle 3, not a lot of size there versus lees and walmsley

I must admit, I think our pack is lacking a real leader. We have a real ensemble effort, which is great in many circumstances, but there were times tonight when the players doing the hard yards were Williams and Dufty instead of our props.

If he was in the room it wouldn't have been empty. Something quite  Schrödinger about that as a thought experiment.

Thanks for that. I think that shows what one would have suspected, given the position of his legs.

Nicely done.
