To be fair they’ve been fluffing their lines in Serie A and the Champions League for a few weeks now so it must be a relief to get one over their hated northern giants yesterday.

I watched the game and they were the better team although Juventus had a couple of goals disallowed prior to Raspadori’s late winner.

The scudetto is inevitable now as the chasing pack have been unable to make any headway on Napoli’s late title splutter and there’s a real dogfight for the CL places in Italy now Juve have had their points reinstated that had been docked for financial irregularities previously.

I expect it's a lot less reassuring to see that sight from the back of the team bus when you haven't won.

Interesting things happening in German football right now.

Bayern might miss out on the title, Union Berlin could make the Champions League places and some of the traditional big boys are facing the trap door at the bottom.

Be an interesting few weeks there.

The title could be decided tonight , going for easy City win and 4 goals or more at 11-4 ......hope i am wrong but think Arsenal might be thrashed .

Breaking news …….. the Tottenham Hotspur mascot has resigned as it was leaked that he is next in line for the Managers job should the interim-interim Manager be sacked before the seasons end.

Commenting on SKY the Mascot said ‘####-a-doodle do, no effing way are they, cluck, cluck gonna stitch me up, ####-a-doodle with that job I’m not effing, cluck, cluck, barking mad’.

P.S. the #### is the word clock with the second letter missing.

P.P.S. No wonder we don’t have any Cockerels posting on here when the majority of the text will be replaced with ####

I hope you're right.

Meanwhile,  Leeds look in big trouble now with their tough fixtures to come. I think Southampton, Forest and either Leeds or Everton to go.

Yes, the board is moderated by the disciples of Mrs Whitehouse. How on earth are we going to discuss farm fowl of the UK without mentioning charlie oscar charlie kilo?

Oh, and City will win the league tonight!

Blackpool are down after losing 2-3 at home too Millwall, it was a great game apart from the idiots who kept throwing missiles onto the pitch.
How much is the drop in TV revenue from the Championship to League One ?.

Going to the Npl west playoff final today Workington v Runcorn, crowd expected to be 2500 +, the beauty of the non league system is plenty of home games and realistic pathway to achieve your goals

If Everton go down, at least we have the consolation that Scousers never whinge or moan about anything.

Was at Stevenage yesterday as they beat Grimsby 2-0 to clinch promotion.

Around 6,500 at it, which is probably a record for Stevenage. Ground felt packed. Brilliant atmosphere throughout and a celebratory pitch invasion after. I brought my 10 year old lad and his mate and they loved it.

Hard to not feel like that is it for Leeds today.

I also think the Leicester v Everton game on Monday is huge if either team can scrape a win they might just get enough points to stay up.

Wigan Athletic are already relegated. What news on the Hull Tigers?

Hull are safe in the championship,  but Rochdale relegated out of Football League. Bradford and Salford in play offs for promotion in L2.

You seem to imply that football teams in RL towns being relegated is good. Sorry if I've misinterpreted you, but I'm a Spurs fan in a bad mood! But if  you believe RL can only thrive when the town's soccer team is in the dumps that doesn't speak highly of your faith in RL.

I didn't imply anything at all, either pro or anti Football clubs in RL areas.

If the FA and the clubs clampdown on pitch invasions like they said they would after some of last season’s incidents, there will be thousands banned.
Somehow i can’t see many supporters facing three year bans.

There's celebrationary pitch invasions and then there's malicious pitch invasions. Anyone throwing punches should be banned for life, but I wouldn't want to stop good old celebrationary joyous pitch invasions when a team is promoted or saved from relegation.

At least half of the 2600 on the pitch after workington afc play off win on Saturday, had potential to turn nasty for a minute when local youths goaded the runcorn following but quickly diffused. As a footnote to the problems faced in rugby league for the likes of workington town in league 1,town will be lucky to play 22 games this season whereas the reds play their 47th and final game tonight in the county cup final, hopefully now football is over some supporters can switch back to league for summer.

Congratulations also to Warrington town on their promotion to conference north
