We own this sport... 50k would be lovely - is it possible to sell 4k in a day and a bit?

So, we are home and hosed with the second biggest aggregate for a Kiwi series, and by a distance the best for over 50 years.

That feels good.
For those of us who lived through the full horrors of 2000, days like these would have seemed a distant dream.

We are the Wall of White!!!

From a business point of view it sounds like its amazing and hopefully the kiwis can go home with some decent profits as well although i dont trust our ceo has any idea on how to get us out of debt. Wouldnt it be great if the likes of Samoa, Tonga and Fiji could tour england. You would get some solid competition from them and potentially put money in their pockets for their own development. A tour by samoa and fiji 2 tests each could reach a total of 100k possibly.

England is the new hotbed for tours of the future.

Get in touch with our armed services and give them the tickets that remain as a small thank you for all they have and are doing for us.

Tickets to the military are already available on Tickets for Troops (free) and they get a 50% discount on normal prices already; no need to give more away!

It's hard to think that just 4 years ago we thought these days had passed. I remember on these forums people were moaning about how we used to get huge crowds but didn't any more.

I remember in the late 70s reading Keith Macklin's history of RL and being amazed at the tales of 40,000 crowds for tests (and 50, 60, 70,000 for championship finals) and thinking those days were gone forever.

It just goes to show...

The kiwis deserve a 3 test return tour, warm up test in png. Sorted

PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF http://www.rugbyleaguecares.org/ and http://www.walesrugbyleague.co.uk/article/8790/join-team-wales-for-2013

Predictions for the future -

Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG

Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT

Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG

Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

Yep. A test against png in port moresby. Then 3 tests against NZ in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Maybe even take the u18's along to play the junior kiwis and junior kumuls.

Totally agree.  They have come over here in spite of the sport there not being in the best of financial health when the Aussies couldn't be  bothered.  I think it would be great on those free years the RLIF has organised to run tests between us and the Kiwis, alternating between hemispheres with a warm up in PNG (given they are the one country to actually hold rugby league as their national sport!).

Can't disagree more, what a farce.

It's time we kicked out those numpties at red hall. When a true fan can't wait to see whether the final game will be a dead rubber or not before buying his tickets then something is seriously wrong. I've picked and chose my games for years and have attended a whopping 4 or 5 internationals in the last decade.

Other sports must be laughing at us and I'll personally never buy anything related to RL again including eggs.
