What a shame that Saracens pulled the rug from under what promised to be a great occasion this weekend.

We had a 50 seat bus fully booked as far back as Christmas Eve for the double header on Saturday, but thanks to Saracens attitude towards Toronto and Skolars we have been reduced to 14 on a minibus, with another 3 of us travelling down by train. Hopefully a few more can make their own way down.

Expecting the usual warm welcome at the New River Stadium and a close game.

Totally agree. It also means we are playing at the same time at Broncos which we try to avoid as we share a fair few fans (plus Spurs are playing) so not sure what the crowd will be but as ever be good to see you and hope it'll be another cracking match!

Toronto pulled the plug on the double header not Saracens.

Only after Saracens raised the ground rental fee 5  fold. Allegedly.

I don't know anything about the ins and outs of what happened between Saracens and Toronto, but I certainly wouldn't think that Saracens are in any position to take a moral high ground on anything right now...

is there any suggestion that they have ?

Back on topic, Skolars taking a leaf out of Toronto's books by not naming a full squad of 21 for tomorrow.

They’ve named a squad of 20 plus JC

This has become a joke. Teams are naming 21 when they are struggling to pick 17. What does this achieve?

In Skolars case it’s the squad we’ve got. Not sure what else the coach would do. We didn’t do that against Barrow AFAIK because we didn’t have the numbers for that.

West Wales 10 Hunslet 24 at half-time, good bit closer than a lot of their games last season.
