Will it be a post final downer or we'll show'em we're still here?

Wigan to edge it.

Salford won’t be able to cope with the blinding speed of the returning G.Burgess & Clubb

Clubb is pretty quick... Didnt he make a great cover tackle on SKY last(?) season...?

Said it before but it’s completely and utterly ridiculous that those are tries . Just no way on earth . If the ground ain’t there they drop it . That’s the clearest knock on in history

In what universe was that a try?

Can someone explain how that is a try? I didn't realise you can try and ground the ball with your hands and end up dropping it and grounding with an elbow instead and still be good !

In one interpretation, he maintained contact with the ball. In another, it came out of his control. I wouldn't have given it, but I can understand why it was awarded without really liking it.

But the Ginger Pearl's try just now is indisputable.

Forward pass, forward pass, drop the ball over the line but you're given a try...

What's the f***ing point?

Give Wigan the points and put summat on we can enjoy.

After being a ref for 20+ years I’m reluctant to criticise but so far we’ve had a blatant knock on given as a try and a couple of missed forward passes.

Bad show

The ball rolled round Powell's elbow. To me  thats a knock on. The Brains Trust say technically it was a try because it was over the try line.
