I was of the opinion that Cornwall could win this - then I discovered the appointment of the referee and decided it could well be a farce of such proportions to beat anything Brian Rix or Ray Cooney could conjure.

Should be classic viewing for those addicted to fault finding the officials, and it would be no surprise for high viewing figures on OuRLeague - for that very reason.

I hope the commentary is good.

Fresh air and sunshine overdose on Sunday watching one of the 2 home wins.

Hairnets, Lions, RAIDERS!!!!, cougars and us for the wins...could be 3 close (us, raiders and 'ornets), the other 2 I suspect will be bigger margins.

Looking iffy for me going on Sunday due to other commitments, shame as it could be a good game..

I have read that Charley Bodman has just signed for Cornwall from Hunslet - seem to recall reading recently about a lot of players recently leaving Hunslet, does anyone know why? Are they not good enough for Hunslet or is something else going on behind the scenes that has meant quite a few have recently left?

For Sundays two games...

I can't see Keighley  Cougars losing. They're by far the best team we've played this season...and that includes our Challenge Cup game against Sheffield Eagles.

As for us....lets hope our mid=season slump is over and we're back to winning ways....I do think it will be a close game but we can win it. Crusaders to win by 4 points.

Well done, Cw25, on a vary good set of Saturday predictions.

Looks like Cornwall have progressed over 4 months while West Wales have somehow managed to regress over 4 years.

An experienced coach proving his worth at Cornwall.

I bet the head coach at Hunslet was animated, losing at home to a former club.

Second half of the season could be quite interesting.😎

Probably, as Hornets seemed to be coasting 32-12 until 5+mins from time, until a Hornets player was yellow-carded for holding down.  I hope Hornets’ coach was furious too as this was a crucial match to keep with the top 4 and with 2 more consecutive away games and a return game home with Swinton approaching.

Cornwall off the bottom of the table too, if only on points differential. Still, the fact that there already was a somewhat better differential shows that they have, on average, been losing with closer margins than WWR. For a new club compared to an established one, that is more that a one match fluke. In that context, this result shouldn’t be viewed as an upset like I felt when I saw the result.

It takes wisdom to know when a discussion has run its course.

It takes reasonableness to end that discussion.

Just out of interest, how many loans/new signings etc. did Cornwall have playing today? Another couple from hunslet on top of those they've had/got already, they'll be a heartlands team before much longer...
