If Toulouse get promoted from the Championship, play out a season in the top division of a sport with 10 of the 12 teams based in another country and avoid relegation it will be one of the finest achievements in sport.

@clogdance What's so confusing? The referee is making correct calls. Wakefield are trying to spoil and are justifiably being penalised. It's not really confusing.

I was just doing a Davo5. The 'high tackle' was a comical though. Wakefield player came in to tackle, and he got penalised because the Toulouse player slipped. But when you don't have the ball for 20 minutes, 2 players binned and continuous 'set restarts' against you, there will be only one outcome.

Belmas and Sangaré had great games, maybe changes the game, France have some decent props for the world cup, Sangaré, Bousquet, Springer, belmas, navarette, dezaria, Séguier? Looks like 2 super League teams may be helping produce French players?

I think Wakefield need 3 wins to survive. My guess is Toulouse will get 14 points max and they have a better differential than Trinity.

Both sides need to raise their games massively after seeing this.

Toulouse play:

Leeds (H) - Salford (H) - Hull (H) - Hull KR (A) - Warrington (A) - Wigan (A) - Catalan (H) - Hull (A) - Saints (A)

They’ve got to win at least 4 of them to stay up.

There's a fair few winnable games there. Its real toss of the coin stuff. Toulouse problem up to now was the narrow defeats. Now with a bit more confidence more of these may be turned into wins. Even the likes of Saints in the last game may have one eye on the play offs.

I think best hope for Toulouse is Salford, Hull and Catalans taking them to 14 points.

Wakefield would then need 3 more wins

Can you imagine the meltdown on here if Toulouse are still in with a shout of avoiding relegation and Catalans & Saints rest players.

Well, that was entertaining.

Went for a walk around the pool at half time and kicked a couple of things hard, which helped.

I would like to watch the 2nd half again without my heart doing 180 to the minute.

Toulouse have a hundred point better goal/points  average than Wakefield, that counts as match won almost

40 points I think. Wakefield conceding 158 points in 3 weeks has really hurt them.

Mmm Catalans... lose against Toulouse and have a future local derby and possibly two trips less to the UK, probably to Wakefield..... Or try and send Toulouse down. Yes it's a tough one 😂
