@clogdance What's so confusing? The referee is making correct calls. Wakefield are trying to spoil and are justifiably being penalised. It's not really confusing.

To be fair, the ref was giving a knock on, by the fact he said no try. 

Those things can only really be judged with the benefits of replays, its just life unfortunately.

I'll be honest and say that I thought there were question marks over two of them. Peats dropped it under him. The Armitage strip looked a reef but it then rolled off his forearm - like the 2017 WC semi and Andrew Fifita.

Quite abject from Wakey but pleasing to see the Gallic cellar dwellers throwing off the shackles and playing with such flair.
