It is yes.  Player welfare amd safety is right at the top of the thinking in modern rugby and so it is a send off.

It may feel a bit soft to us but it is the correct thing to do... both for player safety and to keep our sport viable for years to come so we don't look like we are barbaric.

We can still belt each other in tackles (fairly).

Can you give an example of when something so soft has resulted in a red before????

Child: "ooh I'm going to need another angle"

*angle shown which doesn't even show the ball*

Child: "ok I've seen enough. I've made my decision."

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

This probably doesn't mean anything to anyone but I would just like to point out how much Joe Batchelor looks like Number 1 from The Umbrella Academy.

I'm not sure what you are arguing here.  I agree that it was 'soft' but I am simply pointing out that it is absolutely not on in the modern game.

I'm not asking you to like it.  Just that's the way it is.

That means the Umbrella academy has produced only slightly fewer decent academy players than Warrington.

Harsh. But funny.

I'm looking for consistency. I don't recall this being a red b4??

It hasn't been.  But then again, we never used to send players off for head injury assessments.  They would just get knocked out, have a bit of magic sponge and then get on with the game.

It's just different today.

Consistency is what happens from this point on.  If we are inconsistent on this moving forward then that will be poor.

I've seen worse examples of this through out the season, it shouldn't happen but has always been yellow and then a ban. We want consistency I'm not disputing that 20 mins would have been the correct card but red!!! Come on

Irrelevant. You can’t lift an injured player. It should be blindingly obvious why.

The sooner players get it into their thick heads, the better.

It isn't irrelevant, consistency of decision making is key.

Roby.  Double movement, knock on and short of the tryline

So no try then.

Just a knock on it’s not a double movement if you don’t reach the try line.

So you’re happy with it being a banning offence but not a red card?
