Moove Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Looks like pretty dangerous tackling technique to me. Would be easy to do a lot of ankle or knee damage with that
Wollo Wollo Wayoo Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 But nothing for Mr Magoo? Not that I'm bothered as we really need Wigan to give Toulouse a good towelling next week. Surprising though. PREPOSTEROUS Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Yes he body weight drops onto the Wigan players legs so can see why the RFL want to rid such a technique from the game.
Davo5 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 The sport really needs to stamp out these kind of tackles, can’t really understand how anyone can think 3 games is harsh.
Jughead Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Similar weighted “techniques” have been discussed a fair amount in the NRL lately and coming down heavily on players is the right way to go.

Chris22 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Think 3 matches is about right for that. Using a "scissor" technique to trap a player's leg is very dangerous.

daz39 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Dirty B***** !!!!! that could easily break a leg/ankle, lucky he only got 3 for that. HGSA.org.uk proudly partnering with https://www.sportsandbetting.net/ the ultimate destination for people who enjoy sports betting.
Live after death Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Is there a different angle i cannot see what he’s supposed to have done not on phone screen or at that speed/angle.

daz39 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Just noticed this was posted by a Wakefield fan, was he expecting outrage at the ban handed out to his own team player or was he sharing this example of an awfully dangerous bad tackle so we could condemn it too? I don't believe so, no, not at all - but that doesn't change the fact it's a foul action. I have no issue if you think it was though (well done for reading KTs mind BTW). What is indisputable though, is that it's not a scissor tackle.

I think what is indisputable is that you really can’t handle any criticism of anything Wakefield, not a good trait to have on a RL discussion forum.

How do you figure that? I've stated it's a foul action. It deserves a ban I'm sure. What's not a good trait is to state something blatantly untrue. It's not a scissor tackle.
