I expect York to respond to the game last week, London to be too strong for Haven, other games pretty much as expected

Hoping for two things at Leigh, we don't get embarrassed and we don't get physically beaten up.

Widnes showed up well on Good Friday, with a pretty depleted team from what I remember. I can see this being a bit after the lord mayor's show for Leigh. Full time fitness might tell in the end, but I can't see it being embarrassing.

For Leigh, I'd take a 1 point win with no injuries.

It seemed to me last week Leigh were employing a new stratergy to their game and long before the rot set in for York, Leigh were being far more expansive with the ball from the off than they useually are, my theory is it is in build up to playing Fev again and running their ageing pack ragged, but yes they still have that awesome physical presence, and much superior fitness which they should have, I hope Widnes put up a good performance.

If you offered me any sort of win (which would guarantee top of the league) and no injuries, I'd happily take it.

As good as last week was, it's now as much about making sure the squad are ready for the play offs.

Think you missed "00" off your winning margin prediction.

York City Knights v Sheffield Eagles - Eagles by 8

Featherstone Rovers v Workington Town - Fev by 50
Newcastle Thunder v Barrow Raiders - Barrow by 16

Halifax Panthers v Bradford Bulls - Fax by 14
Leigh Centurions v Widnes Vikings - Leigh by 50
Whitehaven v London Broncos - Haven by 4

Batley to beat Dewsbury and send them down. If Widnes keep Leigh to 30-40 that would be a very good effort. I can't see why Leigh would hold back at this point. More likely to get injured if you don't play at 100% and not playing, while helpful if you're injured, doesn't necessarily help team cohesion for the big games ahead.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

So Dewsbury v Batley gets ignored just because they play on Monday. Does this usually happen with other Monday games?

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

I'm sure we'll give it a go Harry and our recent performances have been way more committed than the dross we were turning out in mid season. But this is a step up to another level. Think the two previous games this season have been in the region of 30 odd point victories for Leigh. While you obviously hope for the best I'll be happy if we can keep it to a similar margin.

Just because you think everyone hates you doesn't mean they don't.
