Ashley Klein`s on-field no-try call was at the root of it. NRL refs always assume there must be something wrong when the ball hits the ground.

And I get the feeling English VRs are reluctant to overrule an NRL official. 

It didn't even cross Hick's mind despite being very clear. It was obvious on the first viewing.

But if a player loses the ball backwards then you are not offside. It was ruled as a knock on so he was offside. I am disputing the knock on decision. ( as it is now written on the chop paper I am wrong AGAIN!)

I'm perfectly happy that we lower the bar and give penalty tries for that. 

But as things stand, we have set the bar really high.
