Toe just touching the line - let's not exaggerate. Still a call that the Samoans should have got and one they could have successfully challenged for.

It took just 3 minutes for Australia to benefit from a bad decision. I know its easy to say that with the benefit of replay, but its not difficult to see a toe on the touchline when you are stood in that position looking straight down the line.

Jack Smith from that well known Australian region of…Wigan.

Good to hear Jiffy commenting on the tiny in-goal areas that hinder kicking.

This isn’t news though. The ingoals look very similar to how they are for Grand Finals, where they’re short, too. It’s been a tactic from teams in the past to run the sixth tackle rather than put in a grubber for that reason.

Oh God, it would be Mitchell, wouldn't it...

Certainly insinuation of it, yes.

It will all weave into the broader narrative.

I know it's a tiny annoyance in the grand scheme of things, but I do hope this RWC is the last we ever see of this Australian shirt-numbering method.

Cleary struggling when the balls aren't warm like they are Down Under.

His kicking hasn't translated to chilly English evening.

It probably won't affect the final result.

The Fox being absolutely lethal again.

Good effort by Suaalii, for a split second I thought he was going to sit Mitchell on his backside and save a certain try. Latrell was just too strong though. Samoa have done ok. That pressure and eventual try all came from a rubbish kick from Luai. They look like they can cause problems with the ball. I worry about their defence though.
