Players Nicknames. The Good, the Bad and the Weird

Recommended Posts

Listening to the commentary the other week the Fevs Mckenzie Yei is nicknamed motorway as he has 2 hard shoulders made me laugh. Plus wasn't Menzie Yere nicknamed he Jukebox at Sheffield.

Speaking if PNG players we'vesigned Keven Appo. Any ideas of a Nickname for him?

From the past, Scott "Foo" Quinnell, Paul "The Buttock" Sironen and Brad "Adol" Fittler.

Alan Hunte, after a fairly poor time at Hull FC despite being on big money, was nicknamed "Isaac".

Enough said.

Who was the 90s London Broncos prop laughing nicknamed Skud, after the missile. Damp squib, more like!

Mark "Spud" Carroll.

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

No, not Carroll. There was a useless Aussie import who was definitely nicknamed Skud, after the missile

When it comes to Aussie sporting stars nicknamed "Scud", Mark Philippoussis makes searching on the internet for anyone else hard.

But are you thinking of Mick Seaby? The big lump signed from Brisbane?
