"It's a tough place to come to and play"

Recommended Posts

I think it's a general sports term that probably gets overused anyway. I mean, I know that playing at home is obviously an advantage, I think that is probably less so in rugby league considering they play each team home and away about 27 times a year that every ground probably feels like home. Also long travel times is never really an issue.

Aside from meaning just home advantage, some places are more difficult to play at.

Some are home to teams that are ferocious in their home record. Others are oppressive with the crowd for example and/or are just not very nice places to be.

Yes, we must stamp out respect wherever it rears its ugly head.

Clearly some people have never seen Bull Durham.

But surely we need to complete high and put them into corners too?

If Cas get relegated then I'd imagine 'it's a tough place to go' will be a massive understatement when Alberte Vete tries to run up the the slope at the Foxes biscuit staduim.

Not by anyone going to Belle Vue.

It was used by Lam before Leigh went there.

It seems to be used more for older grounds, than more modern ones from what I see.

Need more to be like Wayne Bennett.... one word answer's will do if the question is simplistic... that is a Yes or No suffices together with a steely look

or if trying to get him to be controversial over a ref decision... can't change it now so no point discussing it.... or whatever decision we just have to get on and deal with it...
