As usual in the pub with sound off because everyone is watching Leeds - how was that offside?

Inside 10m and advancing towards the line.

Harsh, but if its against the Rhinos in a grand final, or Australia against England in the World Cup final, its a no try.

It's the decision of a jobsworth with no common sense.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Good spot.

What does it tell us.

That Widdop and Gale have fallen away significantly over the last 4 years?

That the bottom of Super League is a higher quality now that it has been in the past?

That Wayne Bennett was a much better England coach than we give him credit for?

Any mix of the above.

We’ve got better halves than we had then

Harsh. He is clearly within 10m and is clearly offside.

No influence on the try for me though.

I thought you had to have some kind of active involvement - which I know the VR is saying by talking about him advancing but, nah …

  • Thanks 1

He gave the try

The offside he just gave against Gale - where Gale was stood 8m away, still, with his hands in the air - was as bad.

Think I will exit the thread now and enjoy the game rather than stay on the referee chat.

My general standard with these things are if its against Rhinos/England against Australia what would I think, and for me its offside inside the 10m
