Pretty bad look for the sport that this sort of mismatch occurs in the match and round that decides the LLS.

Its appalling puts off fans sponsors everyone

I hope Sky think this was worth it.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I think the one thing that a mismatch like this reveals is the clinical ruthlessness of the players from the side on top.

Wigan probably haven't kept their foot on the throats as they could have.

Well, if this is too one-sided, you could always watch the other live match, where the score is... oh.

This commentary has been so disrespectful its disgusting. 18-0 down and amor is talking about record SL defeats.

These are young men making their debuts and starting their journey in the game.

Both need a word at half time

Amor is a really horrible human being

Great work all involved.

We've always said that we always deliver on the field, and I'm afraid we're just not doing that at the moment.

It's a shame, because it's generally been a very good season imo and this is what we offer as one of the peaks.

Let's just hope for a cracker of a playoff series.

Why do they only turn the volume up on the ref ?

it’s like there is no one there

huge contrast to the Arsenal game, 2 channels up

Don't blame Amor, blame Rowley.

Precisely this. This sort of thing is really bad for the sport as a whole, and given rugby league is on its financial backside this media contract period needs to be about prioritising the sport as a whole rather than what’s best for one club in a given week.

IMG must be tearing their hair out at the absolute incompetence of their strategic partners. Decision-makers in this sport are so myopic it’s unreal.

Embarrassing, embarrassing stuff.

Blame Rowley for what?

The RFL and Sky brought this about. Rowley is entirely blameless. Would you have played your 1st team and risk losing your best player to injury just before the play-offs?

Did exactly that but not for long.

Fortunately the North Queensland v Newcastle game had recorded while we'd been away.

That is what everyone else is doing though. Because playing RL is the business we're in.

I'd like the LLS to be a big deal and a much sought after trophy, but given that it clearly isn't, I don't really see a problem with tonight. Of course competitive games are what really get the juices flowing but a display of skills isn't too shabby either. I used to love watching the Harlem Globe Trotters as a kid, believing I was watching the pinnacle of the sport. (BTW real competitive basketball bores me rigid!!)

If Sky hadn't switched this it would have been played a day nearer the play offs and Rowley would have done the same. He admitted in pre match interview he was resting players. Sky stupidly thought, important match, give it prominence, on an evening when they have no football,  straight after the Eng/Aus ODI,  and they can get viewers sticking with Sky for the evening.  Sky were let down,  though I doubt they really care either way.
