Dagger has received a one match ban for foul & abusive language from Sunday. The club needs to get a grip of this, we've let one of the the best full backs we've ever had leave and replaced him with a player who can't behave himself and gets banned for dumb reactions when things aren't going his way. Embarrassing.

Great win for the boys regardless of the quality of the opposition. Lots of strong performances and hopefully something to build off ... especially Walker who was near perfect with the boot. One thing I have noticed this season is, regardless of opposition, how poor our line speed is. I feel like the easiest way to take our team to the next level would be to improve our line speed and close down the opposition instead of letting them run or play. I cannot understand why we cannot do that as it is not dependent on individual quality just fitness and coaching.

Just started training for my U16s team that I coach in south Wales. Was pleased to have a delivery of balls and cones earlier this week part funded by the WRL. Here’s to a successful season.

Barrow charge £5 to watch the women's team when there is a double header and all spectators can stay to watch the men. We are trying to encourage the growth of the women's game and no doubt some fans who just want to watch the men come early, but then they are more likely to be spending in the bars. Prices rise to the men's prices after about 20 minutes of the women's game.

That obstruction rule certainly one of my pet hates. Clearly no obstruction but he is required to break another rule and take a voluntary tackle.

Albi v Limoux could well be the battle between Gigot and Ford. Albi beat The Grizzlies a few weeks back in the mud. This one will be closer, a real nail biter methinks. Albi are up for it. The local buses and other things are flying the Tigers flag, a mini fever has hit the town. Monday morning at eight o’clock the Albi overseas players were hard at it in the gym. You can’t fault the attitude at least.

These are all good points, but for me the biggest story here is why are Hull KR letting Reynolds go for the rest of the season having paid what was described as a "significant" transfer fee for him around ten weeks earlier? Reynolds himself stated "The club has gone above and beyond to get me here" when they signed him, it's very interesting that having seemingly gone to great trouble and some expense to sign him they are now happy to effectively swap him for a player who returned fairly recently from a very bad long-term injury and who can't get into the Cas team.

Personally I doubt it's money related, especially as they appear to have moved immediately to secure a replacement in Richardson. Reading between the lines of Shaw's piece... "the Black and Whites have signed the Rovers playmaker after he was unexpectedly made available" and "But after making just two appearances for the Craven Park club, a decision has been made to allow him to seek another challenge, which has ultimately emerged at the MKM Stadium."....that makes me wonder if relationships have soured between Reynolds and HKR. It will be interesting to see the wording if and when this is announced by HKR.

Read the forums of other Championship clubs and you will see the same message - DR isn't run for our benefit. Add to this the impact of HIA protocols whereby players may be missing from SL squads due to having failed a test and they are reluctant to ship out any that might be close to making their squads. And just to be clear, why shouldn't their reserves take precedence over a DR club?
