I can see the reasoning behind this to be fair. He has more points than Hull FC right now.12 points

Dagger has received a one match ban for foul & abusive language from Sunday. The club needs to get a grip of this, we've let one of the the best full backs we've ever had leave and replaced him with a player who can't behave himself and gets banned for dumb reactions when things aren't going his way. Embarrassing.5 points

This definitely cements their place as the best stadium in the country. Hopefully there's mortar come.5 points

Good tough win that, Hull KR threw plenty at us in the second half and we did OK.4 points

I enjoy watching Rugby League enough to put up with that drum. But it is close.4 points

Great news for Wakey, I just had a sneaking feeling we may have been interested. Looks like Myler is mopping up all the free journeymen and Hasbeens, I am getting to quite like the bloke4 points

Great win for the boys regardless of the quality of the opposition. Lots of strong performances and hopefully something to build off ... especially Walker who was near perfect with the boot. One thing I have noticed this season is, regardless of opposition, how poor our line speed is. I feel like the easiest way to take our team to the next level would be to improve our line speed and close down the opposition instead of letting them run or play. I cannot understand why we cannot do that as it is not dependent on individual quality just fitness and coaching.4 points

Just started training for my U16s team that I coach in south Wales. Was pleased to have a delivery of balls and cones earlier this week part funded by the WRL. Here’s to a successful season.4 points

Enjoyed that Burgess seems to have instilled a bit of steel into Warrington3 points

That's a good victory against a good team.3 points

He is. Warrington just have some really good athletes - and young too. Ashton, Thewlis, Nicholson and more. They are so good.3 points

Not saying Lewis did anything wrong there, but something is amiss with the rules when the ball can be put dead on 39:24 and you can just stand and watch the clock run down.3 points

That's ok, he didn't want to come to Fev as he was too good to be playing in the championship.3 points

And you'll have him on a contract that lasts long enough to see him driving to work again3 points

Barrow charge £5 to watch the women's team when there is a double header and all spectators can stay to watch the men. We are trying to encourage the growth of the women's game and no doubt some fans who just want to watch the men come early, but then they are more likely to be spending in the bars. Prices rise to the men's prices after about 20 minutes of the women's game.3 points

That obstruction rule certainly one of my pet hates. Clearly no obstruction but he is required to break another rule and take a voluntary tackle.2 points

What does he want to look at there really? Plain as day it's a try. Edit. It was a lot more dubious that I thought! Still definitely a try though.2 points

Certainly a strong side from us.2 points

I think Jacksy's referring to an interview with the Hull Daily Mail that appeared in the last day or so.2 points

I’ll always be grateful to Zak purely on his contribution towards us winning the Challenge Cup after making all 5 tackles that led to Hull KR only reaching the half way line, and resulting in the winning drop goal from the next set by Leigh.2 points

If Dagger isn't banned for this game I'd drop him anyway and play Myles as he's been our best fullback so far this year. Make him win his place back. Can't be dropping young lads for mistakes then giving free reign to those experienced players who can't control their temper.2 points

On current form, Sheffield are big favourites. Whether York can overturn the odds very much depends on which York team turns up - the one that beat the Bulls a fortnight ago, or the one that performed so poorly against Whitehaven at the weekend.2 points

Hope Warrington hand in the correct team sheet this week, we can't have Burgess going into another childish strop throwing his weight around and blaming everyone else apart from his self. Rovers by 8.2 points

I've given up even trying to keep up with our comings and goings, so if you've got a player who isn't getting a lot of gametime at the minute, just assume Hull have probably signed him on loan.2 points

5 games from each division is a sizeable chunk tbf I take the ‘notice period’ with a huge pinch of salt given they completely disregarded it just before Christmas when it cost me a fortune when Portsmouth v Bolton was moved to a Monday night, 10 days after their own publicised deadline. The late changes do seem to have calmed down a bit in Super League in recent years (to keep it on topic and hoping not to tempt fate)2 points

Depressing . Player safety is one thing but we really have lost all common sense and empathy with the game with the level we’ve took things to . Allied to the slow motion scrutiny we give to tackles , along with players staying down in a game that prided itself on players getting up , I don’t know it just leaves a bit of a sour taste1 point

So far I've been ok with our recruitment. Asiata, Holmes and Briscoe are all decent signings, and the short term ones all made sense for one reason or another. We needed a few bodies to help support the youngsters who can't do it on their own. This one I'm not happy about. I'm all for second chances and helping people with problems rather that kicking them to the curb. But this guy has got a rap sheet as long as your arm. And on the field he is half the player he was 5 years ago. I havent heard about any recent indesgretions so maybe he has grown up in recent years, I hope so, but either way I'm not thrilled.1 point

This is an area where Hendo needs to get a grip, discipline this season has been appaling, I know Dagger was very frustrated, I was stood next to him when he was explaining what had happened, they all need to learn to keep quiet, the ref, right or wrong, WILL NOT change his mind, you just have to suck it up. that was something that Fordy really did get right in his time at York, love him or loathe him the side was disciplined and rarely did we have players sent off. I rate Dagger as a player, he is fast, can kick and is good under a high ball - not unlike his understudy Myles Harrison, he needs to be careful or the youngster will take his place.1 point

Hope you're right. Mr Thackeray's assistant ref on Sunday is Scott Mikalauskas. See how that goes.1 point

One of the things that really annoy me is when players clearly drop the ball backwards and refs still give a knock on!1 point

I think that we need to thank everyone concerned yesterday from the hard working directors to the volunteers who willing give their time to Hornets. Together they all help to keep this club of ours afloat and hopefully on to future success. Yesterday was pretty special at the ground but everyone continues to help at all times and I’m sure it goes without saying how grateful we are.1 point

Happy with this performance. Agree with the comments on walker, wood, Shane etc. Even though we let them gain yards quite easily we showed how good our defence was with multiple sets on our try line keeping them out. Something to build on this and hopefully take the positives into the next game.1 point
