As an Everton fan in the context of English football I detest Liverpool , but in Europe I want our teams to do well . And that there was phenomenal , against so much .

In a show of extreme apathy from United  it seems like Martial has took the ‘ I can’t be bovvered ‘ approach to new lows and has virtually gone on strike today. He hasnt even bothered running  about

Real problems at that club. It’s rotten. Solskjaer will be gone by Xmas.

That's a myth and not true, Ireland weren't even the first country to play Germany after the war.

Just out of interest, Villa Lost to both clubs in the reverse fixtures, 2-1 at Norwich, and surrendered a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 on 23rd Dec to Leeds

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Probably told this story on here before.

I was travelling in Indonesia 25+ years ago. The railway line got washed away by a landslide and I ended up having to kill most of a day at a bus station. This was a time and place where white people were still pretty unusual and kids would be touching my hand to make sure I was real.

Anyway, got talking to some local youths. Their English was a few words, my bahasa indonesia also a few words. After a while, we established that I was from England. Turns out the only famous "Englishman" they knew was Eric Cantona.

Last time Liverpool won the title in 1990, I remember United handing title chasing Villa a timely defeat in April.

I expect Utd to be much improved from the Everton game but still not be good enough against City. I don’t think this is the only difficult game City have left. In fact I wouldn’t fancy having their last four games against teams motivated for different reasons. Even so I wouldn’t put it past City winning them all anyway. I also don’t like the look of Wolves as Liverpool’s last game of the season. A team who has performed well against the top 6 sides all year.
