Think in the press release it stated each SL team would receive the full £500k

nope!

last year all the SL clubs decided to chip in for the 500K, not a rule anywhere unless it was part of the EGM vote which i doubt it was as we have all the other details of what was voted on.

Could look at this both ways as people have said. Widnes have nothing to play for, but players playing for there careers, in the shop window, pride etc? Seen it happen a lot of times, where the pressure is off with teams, they put in a performance, so you never know!
